There were many positives about Auberge Sonoma - clean, convenient, and well-stocked. However, unit #153 was very loud. Not street noise, but the guests above us. We could hear every footstep, every conversation - we could even hear them using the restroom. These particular guests kept very late hours (12/30-1/2) and woke us up at various points of the night....

I had planned on making a reservation, but was disappointed to see that the owner has raised the price considerably since our last stay. While it is a very nice property, I do not feel it is worth $459 per night. For that price I would expect a lot of amenities.

Truly a great place, but just can't in good conscience give it 5 stars. Completely agree with the many reviews that it is in a fantastic location (a half block walk to the square), and it is a very nice, clean place with a parking space in back off the street. The beds are super comfortable and the covered balcony...

We had unit 153 for 2 nights and can't wait to go back next time for a little longer. Very clean, comfortable plenty of space for 2 couples. This unit is in the back so I am guessing it is slightly quieter than the other 2 units, however Sonoma is not a raging town so noise is rarely an issue....

We actually stayed at a sister property Cottage Sonoma managed by the same property manager. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Well cared for and a great location. Would stay there again. Convenient to the plaza with great food and wine tasting locations galore.

I just returned from a wonderful stay at Auberge Sonoma. Four friends occupied the upstairs unit. I have stayed at many high end places, but never has one been so clean and so perfectly stocked. The unit was spotless, down to the baseboards (a true show of cleanliness).. The kitchen was equipped with high-end appliances and perfect supplies. It was...

Villa 153 - Ground floor rear. Excellent property, well equipped, spacious & suitable for 2 couples, lovely comfy bed. Large walk in shower, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tissues, cotton pads & cotton buds provided. Additional towels available. Only difference in the bedrooms is the colour scheme. Good outdoor area for relaxing & captures the afternoon sunshine for a bit of...

As two couples reuniting for a lovely 4 days in wine country, this property was just the ticket. The very central location just off the square was perfect. The space and the porch were such a treasure for visiting, game playing and wine sipping. It was well appointed, clean with comfy beds and great showers which made our visit all...

This was a great property for the weekend. It had one of the best outfitted kitchens I have ever used in a rental. The unit was quiet, clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable, and it had a full sized coffee pot and blow dryer (very nice). The property is a block from the square so you can walk from...

We were very impressed with the property, and our stay here made our girls' weekend in Sonoma so special. The beds are super comfortable, and the temperature was perfect. Shops, restaurants, wineries and other specialty stores are within walking distance making it so convenient not having to drive and find parking. We had a 2-bed, 2-bath suite with kitchen, living...

“We stayed in the penthouse. Very quiet. Downstairs units seemed perfect too.”

“Upstairs unit is very large - easily, comfortably accommodates two couples with room to spare.”

“We stayed in #153, which had 2 king BRs, each with their own baths. The unit is in the back of the house and it was nice to be off the street. Very quiet the weekend nights we were there. This a ground unit with a unit above us. We noticed some noise from the upper apartment but nothing too bad. Frankly, we spent very little time in the apartment itself.”

“Be careful about selecting the bottom floor units, specifically #153.”

“We chose #155 because we had two couples traveling together and it worked great. Enough privacy for all of us. I think the rooms downstairs could probably hear us walking around, so we were glad to be upstairs.”
