If you ever wanted to spend your hard-earned vacation at a trailer park, then you are in luck! The main house and the common area therein looks very nice, but it is locked up and off limits. Instead, you will get directed to a barrack in the back divided into tiny rooms. Amazingly enough, they thought about everything. No need for you to bring a suitcase, because there is no room to open it. The bathroom is literally so small that you don't need to bring your vanity set, because there is no place to squeeze it in. Traveling in the winter months has an additional advantage of the bathroom feeling like a true outhouse, because there is no heating of any kind there. Overall, truly a full trailer park experience in the heart of wine country :) What comes to mind is an acronym that was concocted from the name of now defunct Belgian airline called Sabena - Such A Bad Experience Never Again. Fortunately, the property manger has saved a day and vacation, and moved us to wonderful Cottage Inn and Spa. But, that's another story :)…
Going to do Pros and Cons, but start with the Cons. CONS- 1. We had a 3 night reservation, had the 'Do not disturb" door hanger on the entire time and the plaque in the room says housekeeping isn't available and towels are in the communal area and to call if you need anything else. On Saturday (day 2), I was hanging in the room while husband was showering around 10am. I saw the door handle move up and thought maybe a guest was going in the wrong room (although only 2 rooms inside the main bldg) then about 2 minutes later, keys go in and they are unlocking, I yell "someone is in here" and they go sorry. Ummmm, ever hear of knocking before trying to enter a guest room? Very unprofessional and disturbing. 2. Shower was hurting for water pressure and there were 3 containers of products in the shower, but only 1 labeled, we didn't use any. 4.There is a lot of street noise if you are in the Rose Garden room even with a fan and sound machine, but we survived. 5. Parking if you have a large car or not great at maneuvering tight areas, but off the street parking is a plus. PROS! - Super cute place with a communal area with fridge and microwave. Breakfast was really presented beautifully and delivered to right outside your room. Danish, fresh fruit, yogurt and delicious coffee. LOCATION! Walking distance to the square and all the great tasting rooms, shopping and restaurants, Whole Foods, CVS, 7/11, etc. And last but not least the king size bed in the room was so comfortable with high quality linens and towels. There is a small courtyard in the front of the building perfect for an afternoon snack and glass of wine for the 2 rooms that are in the main bldg. There was zero contact at this B&B so we didn't see any staff and we are totally fine with that. We would 100% stay here again if we are in the area.…
In the center of sonoma, a peace of heaven is waiting for you. The kindness of the hostess, Elisa, the decoration of the rooms and the atmosphere of the place make us whish we could stay forever. We simply loved it
Booked this Inn for my birthday getaway, knowing that it was within a block of the Sonoma Square. The Inn is a nice quaint facility with 5 rooms. Our room had a queen bed, little sitting area with a cafe table set, dresser and closet and bathroom with a shower. Stepping out the back door brought you to an enclosed "garden area" with another cafe table set. Each of the three rooms in our wing of the facility had the enclosed garden. Each morning a tray of fresh pastry, fruit cup, granola and yogurt with a carafe of coffee was delivered to the backdoor for our leisurely consumption. While the facility sits right off the street our room was exceedingly quiet with no noise intrusion from the street. We will be going back for future wine tasting trips to Sonoma Valley.
We stayed in one of the 4 rooms in the structure in the back. All have private entries and a porch! We even had a lemon tree in our private yard! It was beautiful eating breakfast (which was amazing and so full-filling) on our patio with the waterfall making it seem as we were in our own yard! The walk is short to everything downtown Sonoma has to offer! The touchless experience was great during these covid times.
Location was fantastic, a short walk to many fine restaurants and wine tasting houses near Sonoma Plaza. The rooms were cozy, the bed super comfy. Love the private back patio area where breakfast was served promptly at 8:30 AM. The staff is excellent.
This is my first review ever but this place was so enjoyable that I think it is worth my time. My husband and I spent 2 nights at this delightful inn, including one during the "atmospheric river." A WHOLE lot of rain didn't keep us from enjoying our stay. The private garden deck (Mimosa Suite) provided enough cover during the insane downpour for us to be able to play cards on the little table with my cousin and partner (staying in the suite next door). The staff went out of their way at every turn: extra tea bags and towels, accommodating our early arrival during the downpour (winery was rained out and town flooding!), and most amazing: they jumped the battery in our car when we found it was dead one morning. Did I mention the awesome whirlpool bathtub and candlelit fireplace and comfy chair for sitting? Breakfast was awesome. Steps away from The Girl and the Fig restaurant and the entire town square. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and my cousin feels the same way. "What a good find?" she said. indeed.…
My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at this inn. We literally waited to hear the footsteps in the morning in anticipation of the amazing breakfast! Walking distance to so many things! Plus the wine pass!! The room was perfect and the bed super comfortable. The decor was quaint and very stylish. Just in love!
We stayed at the Inn 2 Remember for one night and can highly recommend it. We stayed in the Wisteria Suite which was perfect for us, very quiet, private, and full of charm. It was nice to have a separate little living room with armchairs and a table to play cards on and a tea-light fireplace for coziness. The bathroom is large and has a wonderful two-person jacuzzi tub. Having breakfast delivered was lovely and added to the privacy and romance. There's also a sweet balcony at the back with chairs and a table and bench for warm days. We would definitely return and I'd like to come back when the wisteria is in bloom early summer! We had a wonderful dinner at the Girl and the Fig and lunch next day in the courtyard of the El Dorado restaurant. The location of the inn is ideal as it's very close to Sonoma Plaza but not actually on it, so it was both quiet and convenient. We enjoyed two long walks around Sonoma admiring the old style houses and pretty gardens. We'll be back for sure!…
We were only able to stay one night, but would love to go back for a longer visit! Cozy, charming, and a great breakfast. Right down the block from Sonoma's downtown square. Perfect home base for a couples getaway in wine country!
