I went and stayed in the flamingo room with the jetted tub and loved it! I would absolutely recommend if you're looking for a fun theme room with hot tub amenities. The square jetted tub in the room is large enough for 2-3 people and the have a separate half bath.

The staff was so friendly and offered Tahoe local products for the room including bath bombs and soaps.

There is a mini fridge, microwave, large TV and desk.

We stayed here years ago and with the newer owners as well as upgraded rooms, this stay was even better. Everyone is super friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was clean but it would have been helpful to have a chair or two so we could sit on something besides the bed. The bed was quite comfortable and we never heard any sounds from the highway or other rooms. No one is on duty in the evening so you need to have questions asked before then. I did appreciate receiving a call informing me that we could check in several hours ahead of time! The location is within easy walking distance of the lake, restaurants, shops and they provide bikes and paddle boards. We'll come again.

Perfect location, clean and remodeled room. We paid around $380 for two nights in June and thought it was a great room for the benefit of the location. It is a remodeled motel, and they did a nice job attending to decor and details.

The hotel was spacious which worked for me and my five kids...... but me and my husband were so upset at the lack of assistance and help we had .. no one picked up our garbage no one brought us more towels. The lights went out twice one time it was because of the town the other was because we had the heaters on and the blow dryer on which it was freezing and our kids needed the heaters and my girls hair had to be blow dried .. sooo ya I needed all that on. I couldn’t get ahold of the owner fast enough to get help. I was gna leave early but then I decided not to and she refunded my money but then charged me again so I had to look for a bank to transfer money into my checking cause I got money tookn I needed. There was no cable WiFi was horrible !!! The room had a door in the room that went to the front desk back area that locked from the inside but someone had a key from the out side and my kids and I did not feel safe the second night we were there we heard people in there laughing and talking and walking around till 4 am in the morning they could of brought me dang towels or took my trash! I’m so upset at this hotel and I wish I could have my money back I will never ever go back there and I do not at all recommend this place .. the area was gorgeous but the hotel :( was horrible .. DONT waste your money I don’t know how people are giving it 5 stars..

This place is awesome! Dog friendly, jacuzzi in the room, 1 min walk from lake and centrally located to restart rants and water activities. Trevor is very nice and knows the area well. Would definitely stay again.

This was probably a $150/night place 2 years ago, and now they're charging $422/night for a shabby room with no amenities. Neither TV worked, and they couldn't fix them. No ice or vending machines, The furniture looks like thrift-shop junk. No closet, just a clothes rack that hindered access to the bed. We will never stay at this dump again.

Don't waste your money here. The staff was rude, didn't provide wifi information upon check-in, other people at hotel were super loud and partying for hours with no one picking up from the front desk, when they still didn't pick up the following day they never returned my voicemail asking about the wifi password. The beach nearby is tiny and full of rocks. I don't recommend this place at all. Staff are not kind or responsive, room was super loud even at night. I even left this place early and basically wasted close to 2k.

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating, quite refreshing to receive such hospitable service. I had an emergency come up and needed to stay an extra night in Tahoe, the nice lady at the front desk was able to get me in early which meant the world to me in that moment. A few days later I noticed a slight discrepancy in what I was charged, they were so apologetic and made to sure to handle it asap. Aside from the wonderful service, the location is right where you want to be. Just a few steps from the lake, beautiful trail along the beach/park, and all the fun restaurants and shops. This is not the fanciest of hotels, but its exactly what you need to enjoy Tahoe. Will definitely return!

Truly enjoyed our stay at Boatworks. The newly remodeled rooms feel like you're in the lap of luxury, beautiful custom bathroom, and extra room for the kids.

Location is in the heart of downtown, walking distance to all the best restaurants, and entertainment. Surrounded by the lake where every view is a postcard. A hop, skip, and a jump to skiing,

Highly recommended!

Good sized room, location and quality bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, could only connect to Wi-fi about 20% of the time and the television was hard to operate. Also, there are two rooms in the Inn without air conditioning and we stayed in one of them. That wasn't really a problem, except for the trash compacter located near the open bedroom window that was used by the local restaurants between 11 and 12 at night.
