I had a gift certificate for $111.90 (I had paid but had to cancel) but as I understand the management has changed the new management does not honor the certificate issued by the old owner. It is not fair for customer to suffer just because the old and new oweer did not have their transactions clear. Control# 13084 Authorized by...

Good value for inexpensive, no frills lodging. With little effort, a cereal option should be added to the breakfast offering. Front desk persons were excellent and marginal. Overall, no major complaints.

The location allowed us to use the ABVI as a base for visits to Reno, Truckee, Virginia City and Boomtown and we were able to fully enjoy our time back at Tahoe. The ABVI never fails to deliver the warm reception we've come to expect. Would happily recommend to any visitor to Tahoe City.

Pulled in without reservations, in October 2016, they had a first floor room available, very good rate (87), we had a King bed. rooms are small, clean, not enough plugs, our room did not have a fridge or microwave, did have a coffeemaker. They do try though--there was a wall mounted magnifying mirror in bathroom. Clean, smaller TV. Very convenient...

We stayed 3 nights this October for a family wedding. We had 2 rooms for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. The hotel was perfect for our needs. Everyone from check in to housekeeping to check out was friendly and efficient. Because it is now fall, the pool was closed, but we enjoyed the lake view jacuzzi which...

Stayed at the ABVI on a midweek Wednesday night the middle of October. Room price including tax was $76.03. My room faced the golf course behind the Inn and had a balcony that was shared with all the rooms on the second floor (basically like a long hallway). It had a very comfortable king size bed, a good sized flat...

We decided to stay in Tahoe City on our trip to Tahoe because we liked that it was quieter than South Lake Tahoe. We chose America's Best Value Inn because it had a great AAA rating and the prices were very good. We had a room with a king bed for $125 per night. We were there in September of...

Quick check in and a ground floor room near reception. Room was dated though as was the bathroom, but everything worked fine. Good location and easy to walk into Heavenly. Not expensive though (approximately $69) and that included a buffet breakfast of cereals, toast, juice and coffee. If you are visiting the area, this is a good place to stay...

I went to Tahoe for a wedding and after spending enough money to get there via plane and shuttle, I was looking for some place inexpensive and convenient. ABVI fit the bill. Paid $130/night and the rooms are not much to look at but they are spacious and the bed is surprisingly comfy. The hotel is also quiet. Central location...

Excellent bed, clean and comfortable rooms. Quiet location. Seasonal pool, all-year outdoor hot-tub. Conveniently located for the lake shore, local shops and restaurants, easy parking on site. The complementary breakfast is always on time, wrapped pastry (which they store on a fridge to keep them fresh) oranges and bananas, a good selection of coffee and teas. Excellent management and staff...
