a little hard to find, arrive in day light. the vintage trailers were clean, spacious and comfortable. Cynthia was very friendly and welcoming along with her energic dog/puppy. We slept very well and after 5 days on the road that is saying something. We had a fabulous breakfast at her friend's establishment in Shoshone, best crepes ever. we are definately... More

I am Jan and I like remote, harsh, ruff, quiet, silent, windy, etc. Visit this place, go for walk, feel the nature, morning, night time. Stay with Cynthia at the Hostel or Tipis, The INN.. You find free and commercial Hotsprings near by. 70 minutes to Las vegas, but I dont like big cities or many people. Pahrump is a... More

I've spended one night at the hostel of Cynthia's after my visit at Death Valley. Too bad it was only 1 night. Immediately got a feeling of coming home. Very friendly owners, very helpful!! Got an invitation to join a Mexican dinner party with all the other guests at the private house of Cynthia. When you order breakfast this is... More

Stayed at one of Cynthia's tipis before heading to Death Valley. I'd wanted a chill and romantic place to stay with my husband, but was unsure if I could do a rustic tipi experience. As soon as we drove down Cynthia's "driveway" we immediately knew we were going to extend our stay -- it was that magical! It was a... More

We stayed in the trailer at Cynthia's and the room was very nice. Comfy bed and good private bathroom. The only downside was that you can easily hear whoever's in the other side of the trailer. Fortunately our neighbors went to bed before we did. There's also a stargazing platform. But the room is worth it just for the breakfast... More

Wow, $100 a night for a tiny room in a trailer with a sagging bed and no TV! OK, the "motel" options in Tecopa are really limited -- it's either Cyntia's or Delight's -- and I've stayed at both in the same week. It's six of one and a half-dozen of the other. They cost about the same. The bed... More

Our "trailer" was supposed to be decorated by an interior decorator and my 7 yr old son could so better. There was no lock on the main door to the trailer in order to accomodate any people who arrived at all hours of the night wanting to rent the "hostel" beds. The one end of the trailer had our bedroom... More

We just returned to Canada from California and wish to recommend Cynthia's. The room was comfortable and clean. The area was extremely interesting to visit. Mark, the superintendent, was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. He was eager to help us enjoy our stay and was full of interesting suggestions about things to do. We didn't have time to do them... More

I only stayed one night, but this would be a great place to stay longer. It only has 3-4 rooms in a little house in the middle of nowhere. There is a bathroom and a kitchen, so you can cook. There is absolutely nothing in the area but the desert, a few hotsprings and a dade-farm. At night you can... More

We went to Cynthia's because we were going to ride in the sand dunes and Tecopa was the closest "town" to the dunes. I too was confused by the website about China Ranch and the date ranch being so far from the Inn ( trailers) but it was well worth the short drive to the oasis. It's beautiful! The rooms... More
