This place has class! It was also more affordable than we thought. We had a beautiful view, fireplace and breakfast too. We even got up early enough to see about 8 hot air balloons in the view. Such a treat! There were even about 5 white doves that kept flying around the property, we joked that they may have been paid entertainment. We did stay during the week, which made it more affordable, I do know that we will be returning in the future.
This place is just simply awesome. It was very clean and the COVID protocols were were being closely followed. It was very impressive. The staff was more than accommodating. They arranged for us to spend an extra evening with them with no hassle whatsoever. The front desk crew (Morgan, Amber etc.) were more than delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The breakfast was wonderful and very filling. A delicious croissant sandwich, eggs benedict, and omelets top my list! The Inn itself is beyond charming. The balconies overlook the winery and foothills, the breakfast area is more than comfortable, and the grounds are meticulously cared for. With COVID, it’s difficult to feel comfortable going anywhere but we would not hesitate to have a getaway here again. At no time did we feel unsafe or insecure about the handling of the Inn or the general environment. I heartily recommend this destination to anyone who needs a little getaway to a nice, comfortable, quiet, clean, and fairly remote location! We'll be back sooner than later! …
This inn is a gem hidden in California. We drove down from Los Angeles on our way to Joshua Tree and decided to make a detour. The rooms were beautifully rustic and quaint. Our room had an antique bed matched with a small desk and fireplace. The balcony had a wonderful view of the sunset and bunnies hopping around. The breakfast menu was limited, but the French toast was amazing. We only spent one night here, but wished we could have stayed longer. One of the biggest benefits of the stay was the lack of children running down the halls. The staff was very friendly and kind. If we are ever back in the area, this inn will be back on our list.
My wife and I were planning our first trip to San Diego. We had no idea there is "wine country" near San Diego. Now we know. My wife got a Travel Zoo voucher for two nights (Sunday through Thursday, expired end of March), plus wine tasting. We ended up adding another night to accommodate a sunrise hot air balloon ride. The weather didn't cooperate so we ended up not going on the balloon ride. We'll just have to go back. There is beautiful outdoor space and a terraced outdoor area for weddings. Lunch is served only Friday-Saturday-Sunday and there is no dinner menu. That was fine with us, we just explored some the nearby restaurants. Our room overlooked the vineyard. We had a private deck. The staff was super friendly, attentive and the breakfasts were wonderful. It was very quiet and peaceful, probably because it was mid-week during shoulder season. The wine-tasting was perfectly good.…
We had a lovely first floor room which like all first floor rooms open to the deck. Great views of the valley and the mountains and a good location for wine tasting. Our room had a gas fireplace, excellent wifi, very good Direct-TV, great bathroom and a comfy well appointed bed. Everything worked well and was very clean. Coffee maker and mini fridge. Free full breakfast is included and the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Two free wine tastings are also included. The wines are nice, just not our favorite. We'd stay again, and the value compared to other hotels and wineries we've stay at is very good. Second floor has balconies, but I don't think there are elevators. Free self parking. A nice weekend.
