We spent one night at the Jemseg Lakeview Motel on our way from Quebec City to Cape Breton. There was nothing at this exit but this motel. Our room at the motel was in the $80 range and over priced for what you got. The small room was crammed with a double bed and a single bed, a table with...

As an experienced traveller, I have found many small motels to be more attractive and worthwhile than the chain hotels. I chose this motel based on Tripadvisor reviews and was disappointed. The only reason we did not leave immediately was due to the late hour and the fact that the room was clean. That's where the niceties end. The room...

This quaint motel has a million dollar view and sits above the Jemseg River. The Owner/ Operator Kathy goes that extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one. She is also a Outfitter with experienced qualified licences guides for the Spring and Fall Hunting opportunities for those avid outdoors people. Alongside that she also gas on hand nature trails...

I just came back to Montreal from my 5th annual duck hunt in Jemseg with a cooler full of ducks, where I meet up with a childhood friend. We have always stayed at the Jemseg Lakeview Motel, owned and operated by Kathy Kyle Wilcox, an extremely friendly and helpful motel operator. The motel is country style, rustic and covers your...

My GPS sent me here and I'm glad it did. Upon arriving at the motel the owner came outside to greet me. After brief introductions I filled out the forms. Everything was very casual. I got a key but was assured that it would not be required. It's the kind of place where she doesn't lock everything up tight. She...

The owner was very welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The property on the whole, however, is rather dated and not in the best location. With the exception of a combination general store/gas station/restaurant (3 tables at the back of the general store), there isn't much there. Also, do not expect to see the lake from...

The owner was very accommodating...I booked this through booking.com and the room had been taken already, so we got the cottage. It was damp, smelled, and the bed was very uncomfortable. Stayed a few hours to rest and contributed on our way to Nova Scotia.

Family of 4 with adult kids and 2 small dogs. We rented the cottage with kitchen that the motel has to offer for a family get together. Others with us rented rooms in the motel. It's a great place, centrally located to tour all corners of New Brunswick. Nice and quite with lots of room outside in front of the...

My companion and I have been staying at the Lakeview Motel on and off for a number of years, now. Kathy is a wonderful hostess: welcoming, kind, dependable entertaining to talk to. The rooms are clean, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the wifi - which is free of charge - a startling plus for a place so 'lost' in the...

We had a clean comfortable stay, a great sleep in a comfy bed. The room was a good size to fit a playpen with all our stuff and still be comfortable. There were a lot of amenities, that you don't expect for a motel in the country...wireless internet, satellite TV, fridge, and a coffee maker. The location by the water...

It was lovely to have you and your family come and stay with us and I am so pleased to hear that you had a great time. Your little girl was just a doll. Hope to see you again.
