Great all around trip. The transportation was spot on, the lodging was perfect and the fishing was immaculate. Absolutely amazing experience. Caught over 600 Walleye and 100 Pike in 4 days. Including a 29 1/2 in Walleye and a 46 1/4 in Pike.

When the host people are great the lodges and Outposts are great. I have fished Charron Outpost 37 times and Sassaginnigak 4 when I was iced out of Charron. Accommodations are super. Fishing is fantastic! ! Charron has a tremendous above average size of fish and Sasa has Master angular walleye and Northern. My first year at Sasa our group of four had 25 Master Angular fish. Two northern at 46.5” and 23 walleye from 28” to 32”. I’ve always said that if the docks and boats are A-1 …..all the rest will be A-1.

Our group of five stayed at the main camp in a near-new cabin. Excellent facility with hot water shower, indoor toilet, comfortable beds, fully stocked modern kitchen. Despite some early season minor problems with the outboard motors, the staff fixed everything quickly. We had the absolute best walleye and northern pike fishing ever. Our group caught 23 Master Anglers up to 32-inch walleyes and 46-inch northerns. Staff was always checking on our needs and were very professional. From St. Andrews Airport, the 45-minute flight in and out was perfect, with top quality equipment and right on time. Wi-Fi available at the office area. These folks work hard to earn your business!

Been going to Charron outpost since 1993. Each year improvements were made and when the Sasa people took it over they really increased the improvements. It's getting more plush each year. I go there after ice out and back again the end of September.
Bonnie Dennard certainly takes care of us and we appreciate all she does.
Fishing is spectacular......you definitely can catch a master angler northern there. Walleye and lake trout average size and numbers is incredible. On a bad day you catch a bunch. There are fish there who have never seen a lure. Looking forward to another 20 trips minimum to charron.

This was my second trip to Sas and I look forward to a third. The cabins were more than comfortable with instant hot water and the ice shack close by. If you must have a wi-fi fix you can pick up a signal near the dock. New mattresses this year I think! A new dock went in which was spectacular. 15 hp motors on the boats, all which operated well. Staff were friendly and pilots were excellent. We worked hard for our fish, but with enough work we had limits daily and brought home fish. A 41.5" master Pike was caught among our group this year.

Great planes, great staff, great accommodations (Master Angler) And the fishing is wonderful. Been fishing here for years and always got our limits and a couple of Masters (both Jack and walleye) . Heading back this June and can't wait to get on the lake.

This lodge is fantastic. 5 stars to the staff, Rory, Tina, Helena, Alex, Julia and Izzy are all super stars. They are truly friendly, helpful and delightful when you ask a question.

The fishing is AMAZING. Every day our group caught many enormous pike (if you go to Sas your arms will get tired lifting these monsters into the boat). To find walleye you will need to cast your jig into the water and reel in, it is really almost that simple.

The cabins are very clean and comfortable. Our group of 4 were in HIllcrest and there was plenty of space. They have great deep friers stocked with clean canola oil that makes delicious fish and french fries.

We are already booking a return trip.

I don't think you can explain how great this trip was. The lake it self was fantastic, walleye, northern and lake trout. The cabin had hot and cold water even at the fish cleaning house on the dock. I have been fishing Canada for 23 years and this was my best trip. Lots of fish, and great size fish, quiet four stroke motors. The staff is unbelievable, Bonnie will answer any questions and take great care of you. The pilots and ground crew are the best.

Our group went to SAS lodge for the first and hopefully not the last time in May 2016. What a great experience. We stayed in one of thier executive cabins and all I can say is WOW! The accommodations and services were far superior to any place I've ever fished in Canada. The staff was friendly and provided all the information and services one would want. The fishin' was about as good as it gets. We caught fish 'till our arms hurt and in turn ate them until our stomach hurt. As the lodge manager Justin said.."If your not catching fish you don't have your line in the water". Special thanks to Bonnie for holding my hand through all the booking process and answering my many questions. Kudos go out to all the shuttle drivers, pilots and other staff who made this a most enjoyable experience.
I must add that Northwest Airl was the best fly in/out trip I've had.
If you like to fish for walleye and those jack's, you need to add SAS to your bucket list!
Keep the light on for me. Cheers - Leland
