We traveled as a couple for a romantic weekend in the cool, fog drenched Northwest part of California. We were not disappointed in the location even though it is directly on the road. We stayed in the Sweet Brier Cabin Things we loved: Redwoods and Ocean all in one Quiet location (road noise once in a while...big deal) Cool days...

We stayed in Briarwood Cabin and once inside, it was a blast from the past. Really nothing had changed in more than 20 years and that’s just how I like it. The main room, kitchen and bath were all immaculate and the beds firm but comfortable. The first morning, when I looked out the kitchen window at my fog drenched...

At one time this place was probably charming - but not so much anymore. The manager was very kind & helpful - our cottage was small with older furnishings (rock hard mattress!) but IMMACULATE which was a nice surprise. However there is so much deferred maintenance - rotten wood, worn off paint, shaky deck & weeds everywhere - in need...

This place was rustic, which I liked. Very quiet too. The cabin smelled weird though as most cabins do...kinda musty or moldy. Lots of blackberries growing outside which was nice. The restaurant that's right down the street, Larupin, is less than 10 minuts walking distance from the cabins and is a great place to have dinner.

Cabin was in a beautiful location and the cabin was comfortable. We drove up to Trinidad and were lucky to find this little gem. The owner was so kind and very friendly, she took very good care of us. The only reason I gave this place a 4 and not a 5 is because there is no breakfast offered, no...

The owner was very friendly and my boyfriend and I enjoyed talking with her. We also enjoyed the cabin we stayed in for the night it was cozy and had everything we needed. We booked last minute because the original lodge we were going to stay at was smelly and looked like it was stuck in the 70's. We wished...

I recently stayed here with my partner and we both thoroughly enjoyed our time. Jane, the owner of this charming collection of small cabins in the woods, was extremely kind and helpful. Our cabin, named "Humming Bird" was cozy, clean and lovely. The wood paneled walls and dotted swiss curtains brought us into the past, while the cabin provided all...

Our family started coming to this place in the 1960s. It exemplified the specialness of this beautiful part of California, and was always a treat we looked forward to. A lot of years have passed, and time has taken its toll on some of the cabins, but we're happy to report that the Hummingbird and Sweet Briar cabins are much...

Thank you to the caring owner, Jane, for a great stay! I arrived late (8:30 pm), and she had the room key inside my cabin. Still, she came to personally check on me and see that all was satisfactory, even though office hours were over. The cabin was such a lovely surprise. It was a beautiful, Euro-look cabin, with all...
