The premier Inn was great, warm and friendly, with great helpful staff easy to find and plenty of parking.. The Foxpond was very disappointing and poor service forgetting that customers actually require serving.
Enjoyed a pleasant stay all satisfactory pleasant suprise lovely location everything that’s required for a overnight stay or longer recommend fully Sorry that’s all I have to say! Very welcoming. You’re making the survey a little bit too long !!
This Premier Inn suited us very well for our recent weekend stay. The shower cubicle rather than a bath suits us. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is extremely quiet, and the beds are always comfortable in Premier Inns, so we had a very good night's sleep. It's not far from the centre of Leicester, but away from all the noise! Restaurant next door NOT recommended.
the trip started off good, however premier inn staff not that welcoming and needed to call via a buzzer which is ok to start if they're busy, room was clean no issues first night. went for a quick meal first night at the pub next door, food good staff seemed ok, however quite unprofessional as a couple of staff were cuddling in front of customers and kissing, never seen this before in any other hotel I've stayed at. second night awful staff in the pub, same couple cuddling and kissing again, we felt totally ignored, needed to ask for a dessert menu, waited over 10 minutes, in the end we gave up and left, were given 20% off the bill as we stated the time we waited wasn't acceptable. again, same couple cuddling kissing, totally ignoring us and could clearly see us waiting and pondering for service. then the sleep on second night, awful, loads of noise seemed like someone running in their room, not kids making this noise but adults, I contacted premier inn on twitter, no reply, then Facebook messenger, no reply. this was at 1.20 in the morning, no way was I going to reception, I was tired and didn't want any trouble complaining to the reception, which was also very poor service, as needed to go there several time for some extra tea bags because was only offered 2 each day, for 2 people mind you, every time needed to call them via the buzzer, just not very good service at all we found, especially second night.…
All the usual good things about Premier Inn were in evidence - comfortable bed, quiet and spacious room and friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant in the pub over the car park was not that great. Although advertised as being part of the breakfast deal, bananas, marmite, were not available and (Sainsburys and Alsi are only just down the road) and there was only white bread. Porridge was good, though. Evening meal service was not good. Waiter didn't know the difference between large and small cod when he brought out the mains and we were asked if we wanted desserts - we were given menus but then no one came to collect our order. There were probably 3 or 4 other customers at the time so they were hardly rushed off their feet.
