Stayed for one night with the family in two rooms. Wish we could have stayed longer! Rooms were really quaint, spotlessly clean with really comfy beds. Ate downstairs at Rocker Oysterfellas and the food was great. Oysters to start, with steak and halibut for mains. Even managed a pudding. One of the kids had the buttermilk fried chicken which was...

We loved our stay in Room 7. Quaint antiques decorate the room and the bed was very comfortable with bedding so clean I have to comment on it! Starbucks coffee, brownies and fresh water for your in-room carafe available right outside in the hall. The market across the street is well supplied and we wished we could have tried some...

It was nice to stay in a historic hotel in a small town near Bodega Bay. We were in room 2, midweek. Good hot breakfast was a short walk across the street at Estero Cafe. Note: If you intend to borrow their DVD player 1. reserve it. 2. try to bring your own headphones for better sound. 3. Bring you...

The Valley Ford hotel is a good home base for a few days in the Bodega Bay area. The hotel itself is clean and charming. The room is nice and cozy; our only complaint was that the bed was a little saggy. The location provides some good flexibility. Bodega Bay and Sebastopol are both about 15 minutes away. Santa Rosa...

Although I was here for business twenty minutes away in Petaluma, this is a great place to stay while visiting the area around Valley Ford, Bodega, and Point Reyes. The room was very clean and decorated nicely, and the bed was clean and comfortable. Since it is an old historic building, the rooms and bathrooms are perhaps somewhat smaller than...

This is where we stayed on a "spur of the moment" trip. Ten miles from Bodega Bay where we planned to be. All rooms are on the second floor and access by stairs so be aware. 8 or 9 rooms. Clean....medium sized...comfortable Queen bed. Valley Ford is a wide spot in the road but food and market is local to...

Four of us stayed one night here and made our reservations online two nights before we arrived. We all had seperate rooms and all the rooms were very nice. The decor is shabby-chic but very comfortable. You are right upstairs from the Rocker Oysterfeller's Restaurant but that is a good thing! We ate dinner there after hanging out in the...

Four of us went for dinner and enjoyed the food and service. We had fried chicken, fried fish tacos, a fried oyster po boy, FABULOUS onion rings and an exquisite butter lettuce salad with asparagus and grilled shrimp. The hotel dining room is part of the Valley Ford Hotel which was built in the mid-1800's. The service is friendly.

This is a quaint 1867 hotel that has been modernized for today's visitors. It was a lovely stay very close to the activity that we did in the area, Sonoma Canopy Tours (zip lining). The room was just the right size for my husband and I. I love that the decore was old time. The sitting room downstairs had comfortable...

It is a small but charming old hotel that has been updated but within keeping of it's 1890's character. Clean, and peaceful (mid-week anyway), except for the road crew who started early, restripping the highway, and parked their generator/pump truck right out front. =( There are no TV's and wifi was iffy. No breakfast (except perhaps weekends); although the cafe...
