Come and enjoy a friendly staff, manicured grounds with a 60's appeal of clean and well maintained facilities. The Cafe-Restaurant offers plentiful and tasty selections, from engaged and attentive servers. Though the December weather did not allow us to enjoy the spacious swimming pool, I can see how summer plunges after a day at Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park would be...

The tradition continues into 2016 to enjoy the fabulous champagne brunch! Since 1996, it has been the norm to reserve seating for the periodic brunches the Lampliter Inn provides. To date, they provide the event for Easter, Mother's Day, and Thanksgiving. The quality and service is most consistent and it is most accommodating to singles, couples, and family members. Do...

Took family here for Thanksgiving buffet and was very pleased. Reservations were required. Two banquet rooms set up one with a huge buffet. Ham, turkey, prime rib, seafood, Mexican and all the fixings. A table of desserts and pies. Great "no cook" holiday meal.

Stayed for 2 nights over the summer during a road trip through California. Clean and spacious motel, decor was a little dated but this did not bother us. It took around 30-40 minutes to drive to Sequoia National Park. Supermarkets were close by for groceries. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Would recommend and stay again if in the area.

Nice, retro place. Stayed before backpacking trip in Sequoia National Park and liked it enough to stay there after the trip as well. The rooms are only okay but the grounds are really nice, as are the swimming pool and the restaurant.

We just finished spending a great deal of time at the Lamp Liter Inn for our 50th class reunion. We rented two cottages by the pool to have some outdoor space for a meet and greet area. The gardens there are very attractive and the weather was perfect for being outdoors. Our main event was inside on Saturday and the...

Our stay was very comfortable. LL Inn reminds me of the 1970s in decor and amenities, but in a good way. Nice value and tasty coffee shop met our overnight needs well. Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.... I would recommend to value minded travelers on their way to or from Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park.

Must admit that I chose this motel based on price; I planned to spend the bulk of my time exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, and didn't much care about the level of accommodations. So I was pleasantly surprised at the very attractive grounds, the spacious and well appointed lobby, and the décor of my room. I've paid a...

My elderly dad made a last minute decision to come to his high school class reunion from several states away, despite several physical challenges, as well as Alzheimer's, and called me to ask if I could come see him there (a 4-hour drive). He recommended I call the hotel to book a room because they were probably full. Indeed, I...

Was ok to begin with... An older motel and thin walls. I'm not a picky person when it comes to hotels, especially for a night stay. BUT the icing on the cake? A roach crawling on the bed I just slept in. I packed up and showered faster than you can say boo! The two stars is for the restaurant......
