We had a very disappointing experience at the Visalia Marriott Hotel! When I called to reserve the room I told them it was the eve of our anniversary and requested a very quiet and private room. Before retiring to our room we enjoyed drinks in the bar and asked for a 10 am wake up call. However, at 7 am,... More

Dear Sonya S. Thank you so much for taking the time write your review. I am so sorry to hear about the less than perfect stay you had at our hotel. We are in the process of renovating our hotel rooms and we try our best to minimize the effects of the construction on our guests. However, in this case... More

Spent a weekend at the Marriott in a little unknown town to us to support my daughter in a marathon. What a sweet surprise Visalia was! This includes the nice staff and comfy accommodations at the Marriott. Our room was well appointed. We had a potentially vacation changing issue (no more roll away beds available) but the staff quickly corrected... More

I spent a night with my family here after a tour of Sequoia Park. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. We used the swimming pool that was nice and very useful for the occasion as the weather was warm. It is located centrally and useful to reach shops and restaurants. It is a very good hotel and we... We stayed here for two nights, and in general the hotel is great, wonderful pool, superb breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms (more on that) and a helpful if somewhat confused staff. The issue started when I went to book the hotel on the Marriott website for two rooms each with two queen beds. There were four adults and three young... More

I'm a Marriott Platinum member and spend a lot of time in Marriott hotels. I've been a biz traveler for 30 years traveling all over the US and the world. I've stayed in 5 star hotels in Asia (truly the best) to $2.00 a night roach infested hovels in Central America and everything in between. My point is, I know... More

OutAndAboutSF, Thank you very much, as a frequent traveler and loyal Marriott member, we value your feedback. Nice hotel, great rooms but my dad was in the hospital and I had to leave in a rush, left behind a kindle charger and a dress and nope nowhere to be found. I am 100% sure these were left, they are not extremely valuable but still I don't like the fact that they weren't turned into lost and found!!

We stayed here for a few days while visiting Sequoia National Park. I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff and my family's experience here. From the restaurant recommendations (Rosa's for Italian and Brewbakers for a quick bite and beverage) to the cleanliness of the pool to the front desk staff everything was well above the usual hotel... This is probably the best hotel in Visalia, yet it left much to be desired. Everything needs to be painted / wall papered, rooms need new carpeting / new mattresses. The furniture / amenities / bedding were good quality (such as the walkin shower - excellent). Hotel is a mixed bag. Would stay again if in town, but wouldn't love... More
