A few months ago, my husband and I planned an overnight visit at the Weaverville Hotel with a dear friend. Upon check-in, the charm of its innkeepers and their welcoming staff, turned our one night stay into three of the most delightful vacation days we have ever enjoyed. Nothing here has been overlooked. Both rooms were beautifully decorated with antiques....

This is a very well run establishment and a hands on touch. The owners Jeanne and Brian are doing an excellent job with their establishment. You will not be disappointed by staying here. It is in close proximity to all in downtown. The newly opened La Grange restaurant across the street was very good.

We stayed one night here in February. When you look up customer service in the dictionary you will see the Weaverville Hotel & Emporium! Such attention to detail! Our room was so beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and everything was so clean. So many things to look at, from all the pictures and knick-knacks to the books and let's...

Jesse is good Hearted. I am remined of Emily, the former proprietor when he came up to greet me. I really appreciate the home feeling that a dog lends to the establishment when he makes sure that you are Okay upon entering, and then goes about his business of watching and waiting for the next customer. My kind of place....

We stumbled upon this gem and will definitely be back. Brian and Jeanne(and Jesse) went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. Everything was top notch from the tour of the hotel, turn down service and the recommendation of where to have dinner. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed overnight in late December, during the off season. We had booked the Golden Jubilee room (#6) and it looked quite nice ... but Jeanne offered us the Honeymoon Suite (#3) and we thoroughly enjoyed the change. Warm, cozy gas log fireplace with a sitting area and couch; very comfy 4 poster bed; separate soaking tub (there's also a...

This is my favorite hotel in the area. The proprietors, Brian and Jeanne (and their dog Jesse), are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel structure and decor is old/antique but the accommodations are modern, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

I was in Weaverville for a funeral and wasn't sure where to stay or expecting too much seeing as the tiny population...I was pleasantly surprised. The owner is a gracious and very nice lady, making sure my stay was perfect. Lovely hotel with focus on detail...it was like stepping back in time. I would highly recommend The Weaverville

Thank you so much for your great review. I have to give a great staff a pat on the shoulder though: I couldn't do it without them. I am glad we could give you respite at a difficult time. I wish you a Happy Christmas and all the best in the new year.

From the time my buddy and I checked in at the desk in the Emporium, we were treated with consideration and graciousness. My room was charming, and cozy with a gas fire place that warmed up the chilly night. The furnishings were all authentic, but the bed was modern enough so I got a great night's sleep. The coffee machines...

We spent a night in September 2015 and it was great fun; totally enjoyed Weaverville, not having visited since I was a kid MANY years ago. No hesitation recommending the hotel..only caveat for others is stairs. Would happily return.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel, originally built in 1861, was last rebuilt in 1880 after burning to the ground. We have painstakingly restored it to the original high ceilings and wood floors, attempting to recapture as much of the original charm as possible. Private bath with shower in all rooms, most also have claw-foot tubs with bubble bath. All rooms are air conditioned with ceiling fans; most also have gas log fireplaces, a welcome feature during our colder months. Prime retail therapy is to be had in our great little Emporium downstairs where everything from sterling silver jewelry to women's clothing to great gift items can be found. The emporium is open every day, 9am till 6pm except Sundays, 10am-6pm. That's every day of the year! ... more   less
