We spent a night here recently and loved this place - it's very charming and elegant, as are the hosts of this fine establishment! Quality furnishings and linens and loved the tub. We will definitely go back and highly recommend it. Don't miss the Emporium downstairs - truly something for everyone!

What a great find as we pulled off the CA299, it looks stunning, is steeped in history and has all the personal touches of a 5 star hotel. I really can't recommend this place highly enough and wished we'd been staying more than one night to enjoy it all had to offer. A real homely, welcoming, delightful place to stay.

Twice we have booked this hotel. Both really good clean comfortable stays. Little bit of street noise (it's on main road, like everything else in town) but the A/C covers it up. Nice family-owned hotel with large complimentary coffee / tea selection, both in room and in a shared area. Easy walk to downtown spots like coffee bar, etc..

I'm deferring to my wife and giving the Weaverville Hotel 5 stars. I would probably give it 4 to 4.5 stars, but not because there's anything wrong with it, just personal preference. We stayed here overnight on our way from Lassen Volcanic National Park to the California coast. The owner and staff, including Jesse the dog, are a delight to...

I had a fabulous two night stay here. I was in town on business and it absolutely made my trip. My room, #4, was amazing. Very comfortable with everything one could need. Especially nice to have the air conditioning . The owner is delightful. I highly recommend it. If I am ever back in the area this is definitely a...

The two best things about this hotel are the atmosphere and hosts. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, kind people. they really work to make you feel comfortable and do lots of extra touches to make this happen. The hotel itself feels like you are going back in time. It is beautifully maintained in Victorian style with out being...

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for one night (two rooms). The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and appointed with antique furniture as you would expect from a mid-1800's hotel. It was hot during our stay and I was thrilled to find AC in all the rooms. Weaverville is a small town with bars, restaurants, and shops near...

Really enjoyable. Victorian rooms, claw foot tub. Hospitality welcoming and charm. Gingerbread fresh cookies with complimentary gourmet coffee bar. Yummy. Try the chocolates, they are delicious! Yum-0! There is an emporium downstairs with something for all. Don't miss it. A must stay.

Wonderful place to stay. Better than many of the B&B's we have stayed in EVER. The attention to detail is amazing and special. I am already ready to go back. Beautiful linens, towels and all the frills.

I would definitely recommend this lovely "jewel" to anyone who would enjoy a restful night in an extremely comfortable setting. The hotel is historic and the owners treat you like royalty. You will certainly enjoy a friendly stay. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that don't give you this fantastic treatment.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel, originally built in 1861, was last rebuilt in 1880 after burning to the ground. We have painstakingly restored it to the original high ceilings and wood floors, attempting to recapture as much of the original charm as possible. Private bath with shower in all rooms, most also have claw-foot tubs with bubble bath. All rooms are air conditioned with ceiling fans; most also have gas log fireplaces, a welcome feature during our colder months. Prime retail therapy is to be had in our great little Emporium downstairs where everything from sterling silver jewelry to women's clothing to great gift items can be found. The emporium is open every day, 9am till 6pm except Sundays, 10am-6pm. That's every day of the year! ... more   less
