Found this hotel at the entrance to a lovely little town. Right on the highway. A bright spot in our visit. This is a great little town in the mountians of Northern California. An outdoor paridise with a lake close by, rivers to fish and sites to see. The hotel was very accomdating to us. Will return soon.

The outside looked good. The inside made us sick. My wife noticed hair all over the bathroom and the towels were folded neat, however, had fresh stains on them, appearing to still be dirty. There was nasal excreations from someone else all over the tissue box, on the top where it was obviously noticable, and the icing on the cake...

Over the holiday weekend we arrived late night to book a room at this hotel. It was the last room available, the "honeymoon suite" and not what we wanted, but since we had no reservation and other hotels were full we felt we had no choice. We paid the room rate and entered our "suite". The room design was different,...

The bedding appeared to be clean and so did the floors; but I didn’t notice the bathroom until I returned to the room after dinner. The shower and bathroom were FILTHY! There was only one bar of soap in the room and I was compelled to wear my flip-flops into the shower and after seeing the dirt in the shower...

All in all, an unpleasant experience. Rooms appear fairly clean, but ours had an odor that belied the appearance. We prefer places that are genuinely clean to those that are only superficially clean. We don't know whether there was something funky with the carpeting, the bed or what, but I wouldn't call it genuinely clean. Service from check-in on was...

First room, the bed had hair from someone else, a HUGE spider web bugs and the air conditioner was BARELY in the whole, I could see outside CLEARLY. A hole in the wall and the smell...

I have worked at several of the hotels in trinity county mainly doing the housekeeping so i'm aware of the cleanliness standards & the only hotel I've ever been content with is this one. I'm very picky about where I'll stay or work because of my standards clean. I can't sleep in a bed I don't think is clean so...

I've just read some of the other reviews of this motel and was surprised that some were positive. This is a Best Western MOTEL, not even as nice as most. First, it's name is misleading for someone unfamiliar with Weaverville. It is not "victorian". It is just a motel. It does have a pool. A very small pool. According to...

When I was a single mom of two girls, we would stay at this hotel for the weekend and have a blast. Now I am married and my husband and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. This has been the Hotel that we go to get away from town for the weekend. We always get a room with a...
