Stayed here for four nights on business which was rather interesting. The hotel was booked for me and had I been more organised I would have spent more time checking it out. Very weird hotel that felt as though it was trying exceptionally hard to...More
The hotel is conveniently located in West Hollywood. The staff is accommodating although when I first arrived the guy behind the counter didn't even look up to greet me with eye contact. He just said hello and checked me in. I thought that was rude....More
Just stayed a night in The Standard Hollywood in WeHo in LA. Overall, the stay can be considered to be sub-Standard for both the usual standards of the chain but also for the pricing of this particular property.

We loved the 1960’s feel throughout. We had a quiet room which was nice. Pool area fun. Breakfast is like eating in a very cool diner. Lobby area very artsy and chic. Party area very cool. Location great.

For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of
wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
