Petit Ermitage is my definition of Gold Standard in LA. I have stayed at many of the other places including primary competitors like Sunset Hollywood and Chateau Marmont and this place BLOWS them out of the water. The rooftop with the outdoor seating was gorgeous,...More
I've been staying at the Petit Ermitage on my annual January trip to LA for many years now, and this year didn't disappoint.

Excellent boutique style hotel. Love it there. Spacious comfortable room and bed, great vibe, beautiful service. Wonderful roof deck for sunning and a great restaurant where we had a Soire and it was wonderful, private and in a tent.

For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. I didn’t find it to be a party hotel. I heard no noise while in our room. The rooftop can get a little packed at night however we actually enjoyed that. My wife and I had a blast staying at this hotel... it had a “hidden gem” type feel (even though I know it is well known). Can’t wait to return!
