We stayed three nights and didn’t want to leave. This hotel surpassed our expectations. The room was a good size with floor to ceiling windows giving amazing views of LA. The shower had a quirky feature of being separated from the bedroom by a curtain. Breakfast in Casa Maderna was delicious. Special mention for our housekeeper who kept the room sparkling and Rachel on reception. Would love to stay here again!

Hotel's Favourite
We do not agree with comments of people saying the hotel is old, sky bar is disturbing the stay of hotel residents, etc. The hotel is well maintained, room was renovated and spacious with good city view, we were On the last and 12th floor. Swimming pool close at 6 pm (but you can still be in the water a bit after, no worries) as the skybar welcomes West Hollywood nights with beautiful people and cars (dress code apply even for resident). Valet service excellent and no restaurant during our stay but many options in the surrounding. You have to ask the front desk for ice, room servicing but this is explained when checking in. We enjoyed being in sunset boulevard , riding Beverly Hills and the comfort of the location. If you plan to stay for the weekend, just be careful the skybar can be out of control if you stay on the pool side… stay on city side, high level floor and enjoy the quiet air conditioning at night.

We stayed for 6 nights . I took my 2 adult kids. It fit us perfectly. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff especially Ben at the front desk was very nice. The housekeepers did a great job cleaning the room . It’s a very hip hotel with a great restaurant Casa Madera for dinner . Location was great. We could walk to a lot of places.

The hotel is great after renovation in a convenient location. The upscale Mexican here has an unfriendly & aggressive guy (kid) dressed in a pretentious cotton suit at the front door, discriminating my designer’s quitted pants, refused to let me in. Then the manager saw the uncomfortable situation and came out to bring me in. Most ladies were guys in causal attires. The dress code is an issue where CA is a Shorts Culture. I went in twice but never eaten there. The restaurant must hire professional staffs to keep business going. Experience was bad!!!

This hotel is incredibly expensive and worst of all-- the service is awful. I asked to hold two handbags at the front desk of the hotel for 2 hours and they charged me $5 per bag. The odd bit is they wouldn't take credit card. Kila Hoomana made me personally venmo him $10 and said I'd have to go walk to an ATM otherwise. Why am I personally venmoing him and not paying the hotel if this is a hotel rule? So disheartening and rude and I feel as though I got scammed. I expected much better service for the high prices paid.

Hello, and thank you for your review. This is a hotel policy rest assure. The policy is in place for security purposes, so non hotel guest cant just leave packages and items at the hotel. We charge per bag because we are limited in space, therefore we try to reserve the space we do have for our hotel guests. I do apologize for the interaction that you experienced. In no way do we condone rudeness. We want all guests of the hotel, staying with us or not, to be pleasant and welcoming. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Have a great week ahead.

Such an amazing hotel in the perfect location. The staff is great and goes above and beyond. This was my second time staying here and this time was even better than the last. The concierge is so helpful and a special shout-out to Ben who was extremely helpful when I was sick one day. He even checked on me the next day and was very kind. Also thank you to Mina for helping us book our car service.

I booked this hotel through Chase ‘The Luxury Hotel and Resort Collection’, and I’m not sure why it’s labeled as Luxury (I always book five-star hotels for my travels, and I chose this one because of a Chase promotion this time). I booked from 2/12 to 2/16, paying over $1300 in total. First, the hotel rooms are not soundproof. I understand that Valentine’s Day on 2/14 brings many couples to the hotel bar for celebrations, but my husband and I wanted to rest early. Unfortunately, the noise from the bar downstairs was very loud, even up on the 7th floor. Secondly, one day we returned to the hotel and our room key would not open the door. Thinking the key had been deactivated, my husband went down to the front desk 3-4 times to reactivate it, the staff to eventually realize the door lock battery was dead. As a Luxury hotel, this was the first time I’ve encountered such an issue, though thankfully the battery was replaced within 5 minutes. Lastly, we visited Los Angeles for leisure and rented a BMW X5, using the hotel’s valet service at $65 per day. Upon returning the car, we discovered a scratch on the left door, which my husband and I are certain was not caused by us. While others may have had excellent experiences, I am merely sharing my own.

I had a 24 hour business trip to LA this past week. My company booked us rooms here & it ended up being an absolute DELIGHT! Ben & the front desk team truly went above and beyond in attention to detail. I wish I could remember everyone’s name but when I tell you that personalized service was top of mind, they made me feel at home, important, and taken care of. Ben in particular remembered me and checked in with my comfort each time he saw me. Thank you Ben!! The room was AMAZING, views were stellar, and the bed was so cozy. I highly recommend staying here while in LA!!

We arrived to a busy driveway on a Friday nite and I have to say it was a little bit overwhelming. A Bellman showed us to the Front Desk and offered to meet us there with our luggage. Bonnie checked us in and was very kind. The Bellman, Ford, brought us up to our suite and was very helpful showing us "how (electronic) everything worked" in the room. Our room was pretty big and furnished with really nice everything. And whatta view! We came down later and the lobby was jumping. It must have been obvious that we were lost because Concierge Jason introduced himself and asked if we needed any help. We had a lot of questions but he was very patient with us, actually made it fun and thankfully, normal. He gave great advice, really curated our weekend and always remembered us by name the next day. We saw him greeting loads of other guests so that was pretty impressive! We booked the restaurant, both nights. The doorman let us peek inside and it looked pretty cool, almost like a nightclub. We didn’t spend much time in Skybar but the man greeting guests Friday and Saturday evening there was very nice. We hope to come stay again sometime and plan to make time for Skybar.

I have to give my highest compliments to Mina, at the concierge desk! I have spoken with many concierge agents, and I have to say she is the very best. She was very helpful, sociable, and kind to speak to. If you need any type of help, or suggestions she is very knowledgeable, and ready to ensure you are set. I cannot speak highly of her. She ensured my client had a perfect weekend getaway.
