We were going to the Whisky a go go and The Rainbow. This was walking distance and make it fun for everyone. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Book directly thru hotel (its cheaper) and ask for free upgrade when you check in.

I stayed here back in October for a week and would highly recommend this great hotel. The room was very nice and the staff were really friendly. I think my favourite part of the hotel was the pool area on the roof - it was a great place to relax with a few drinks and some food. The location of...

We booked this hotel because it had a little bit of a higher price point so we thought it would be a bit nicer than the normal but the rooms are not soundproofed and it sounds like the people in the room above us are going to fall through our ceiling. Very small, too small for 2 adults and 2...

This charmingly funky hotel is tucked away in the residential area of West Hollywood. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a separate living room area. Very welcoming. The entire property is spotless and very well tended. The saltwater pool on the roof offers spectacular views and thoroughly relaxing seating areas. What really sets this hotel apart is the extremely...

This hotel has great reviews. However, now that we stayed there here are a few items you might want to consider. Although the staff is nice thats about it. The floor (4th floor) smelled so gross, they had some flowery scent going at night that was so over powering we had to practically run to our room. Once we got...

A perfect fit for anyone who wants to be walking distance to the action in WEHO. Straight, Gay, any thing goes is this great neighborhood. Nice rooftop pool. West Hollywood / Beverly Hills hotels are expensive, making this location a great value, around $300 per night. The guest rooms are lovely, large, very clean. Decor is dated in certain areas,...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Parking is valet only, and $40 a night. Location is close to some good restaurants within walking distance, one down hill on Santa Monica Blvd and one uphill to Sunset Blvd. For the price, I'm shocked there was no complimentary breakfast or anything. For the price, parking should be free. The room has a step...

This hotel is pretty tired. Chipped paint, broken blinds. Its a small hotel with basic/ minimal service. We checked in late and needed a hand to make-up the pull out bed for our kids. No one showed and we had to improvise. The kitchen is NOT equipped. You have to request dishes, cutlery etc. They do not supply dish soap....

This hotel is listed as a four star hotel so I will review the things I experienced and you can decide what is important to you as a deal breaker. The location is excellent. It's in a residential area a couple of blocks from The Sunset Strip. A couple of blocks the other direction is a little area with tons...

I was on an extended business trip and Le Montrose Suite was centrally located. I had a 1-bedroom suite with large living room and kitchenette. The living room was so relaxing after a hard day at work - it was lovely to sit in front of the fireplace and watch TV and enjoy some room service. TV in living room...

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
