We are from Australia and hired an RV with our 2 kids aged 10 & 11 and we stayed at SacWest RV Park for 1 night in Dec 2016. This park seemed quite nice but due to the weather being so cold we were not able to explore it much. I did see they had some pigs and chickens near...

The staff is super friendly. The prices are good. The food truck is amazing! If you live in the Sacramento area you should definitely stop by just for the food at 24k Grill. When you enter its on the left. The showers are not the best, but they work.

Let me start by saying this was a different weekend away for me. A little out of my comfort zone. I am normally a hotel room kinda girl. We rented an RV in the SacWest RV Park. There were three adults and three children. We had such a good time. The kids had a blast. The pool was really nice,...

Friends rented a cabin by the water, and my husband and I stayed in our RV. Positives: quiet, pet-friendly, has a slough which attracts a fabulous variety of waterfowl. Located near a major shopping plaza and Old Sacramento. Negatives: RV spaces were unusually narrow. The water and electric stations were on the passenger side, opposite of our RV connections. More...

There are few RV parks close to Sacramento for quick access to major tourist attractions. This park has changed hands recently and is getting a facelift. It used to be a KOA park. Located close to I80, it has easy access. Some spaces are long term rentals. Dump station, small store, playground with equipment to rent.

My family and I stayed here for a week. The spaces are somewhat level with full hookups. The people and office staff are friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers are kept clean. The pool was refreshing after a day of exploring. They also have events for the kids and the family. We used SacWest as our base to visit...

I really had hoped after reading the reviews, that there would have been some improvements...it looks like they are trying...but not hard enough. The bathrooms had mold in the showers and the rugs were nasty...the spots are really tight and not kept up. The pool was very clean....but all the chairs were dirty and covered in cobwebs and spiders. The...

We tent camped here about four years ago and were not impressed, but because it is conveniently located we decided to try it again. It has gone even further down hill. Don't know if they quit the KOA franchise or if KOA dropped the park, but all the signs are still KOA yellow with duct tape over anything saying "KOA."...

This park is mediocre. A few of the showers have no water pressure & were room temperature water. The staff kept the bathrooms very clean, though. Our biggest problems were with the very small RV spaces - way too tight & close together. They weren't very level, & there was so much dirt everywhere, it was hard to keep anything...

We stayed here in a cabin in May and on Labor Day weekend and both weekends were great!!!! The cabins were both clean and comfortable and met our needs. Staying in a cabin is a step above tent camping and our grand kids love it! This is a perfect place to bring children. There is so much to do: Monster...
