We had a 2 room cabin with wood burning stove, kitchenette, cozy and charm is what we wanted. It was just like the memories I had with my parents. The best thing I loved about this lodge was that after two previous cabins that we had on our 10 days of cabins in Colorado, this was by far the BEST....

Stayed in Elk Point for the first time. Been going to Vallecito since the 1960's. Wow, Great Lake front cabin! Friendly staff! And the sunset views were amazing. Fishing was just a short walk away. I have a new favorite spot at Vallecito!!

We stayed in Cabin #1, a cute one room cabin above the lake. The inside is rustic, walls are pine. This cabin has a nice full bathroom, a small stocked kitchenette, small dinette, and two double beds. There is also a small deck/porch, fire pit, and horseshoes. We stayed with our two kids (9 and 6). They had a wonderful...

We stayed at a small cabin by the lake. The view was beautiful. The cabins are not fancy and our cabin did not have a tv, but that did not bother us. It was nice to be unplugged and just to enjoy nature and relax. Our cabin had two full size beds, frig, stove, sink, kitchen table, and bathroom. There...

We've planned two family reunions here and it's been wonderful both times. The free use of kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe really makes it fun for everyone. We played pool in the main lodge, swam in the lake, took horse trail rides and biked around the area - it's gorgeous. The cabins are very comfortable and clean and the...

My family and I wanted to try something different this year.. It was the best decision we could of made! We had cabin #5. It's for 6 people. The cabin was fully furnished, even had body and hand soaps. The kitchen was fully stocked right down to the dish soap, all you needed was food. They have a communal fire...

Guests can use the canoe, kayaks, & paddle boards for free. The fishing bank on the property is fantastic. We visited the water & fishing area...

We stayed there for a week in June of 2016. Can't say enough about the location and the place. The owners are wonderful and they run a tight ship. They have horses on site for rides and they were in great shape and were very happy animals. We had a great time and will be back next year

This was the 3rd reunion we've had here. And as always, we had the best weekend! Perfect getaway. It's like a little step up from camping in a tent. Campfires, FREE kayak & canoe rentals for guests, basic amenities in kitchen for meals, and so much more. I see people complaining the WiFi is only in the main lodge.... Who...
