So I went on a writing retreat, smack dab in the awesome Colorado rockies, at one of the most stunning hotels I've ever seen, the Bachelor Gulch Ritz-Carlton. It sits at the top of a mountain, looming over us, looking like Wayne Manor was built by a lumber-sexual. Everything is massive at this hotel: the hunks of wood and rock...

We have stayed at quite a few ritz properties and I believe this property has among the best service you can find. Every employee we encountered was exceptional. The food from room service and restaurants was incredible. The hotel is nice and quite, not as busy as neighboring beaver creek village but close enough to be a part of. You...

We booked 2 deluxe rooms for 4 nights the last week of March for spring break. In the past we have had very large 4 bedroom suites at The Westin Riverfront Beaver Creek just down the hill and had come up to this resort for dinner at Spago. We wanted something a bit more upscale with more service and direct...

My wife and Istayed with our children and grandchildren at the Ritz Carlton in Bachelor Gulch Colorado for four nights- July 6-9, 2015. It is a true wood lodge style resort located in a beautiful mountain setting high on a hill away from the bustle of the Vail area. We liked it so much that we only left the hotel...

It's been a few years since we stayed at this property. The accommodations and staff were exceptional. Being a resort, the only negative is their restaurants are very pricey. Their spa and workout facility are wonderful. I highly recommend either the Ritz (in Bachelor Gulch/Beaver Creek) or the Four Seasons in Vail if you're looking for a 5-Star experience.

Visited in the summer. Beautiful setting, beautiful rooms, beautiful views. Gorgeous and well maintained hiking trails in place of the ski slopes. Spago restaurant on site reasonably priced. Attentive staff. Front area has seating, outdoor bar, pool- all very nice. Minuses: They allow smoking onsite. Gross! Also...Fifty...yes I said fifty, dollars per night for parking and you aren't even allowed...

The hotel grounds and property is beautiful. Stargazing (complimentary tour) at night was closed/not available the whole time we were there (5 nights) , however you can book a private one. Hiking in the morning (complimentary) was closed, however you can book a private one. We were told upon check-in smores were free every evening. Actually ,the marshmallows are free...

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights to attend a wedding/reception. The hotel is top notch. I noticed the little things like every time you asked an employee to help you find something, they would stop what they were doing and accompany you to the location. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were very nicely appointed and the...

Peaceful, relaxed and well appointed but not stuffy. Stellar staff. Very nice rooms. Quiet and loads of options for activities. We have 9 year old kids and felt that we all got our own activities. They make every day and every choice easy and especially easy for parents. From roasting marshmallows on the fire pit (including smores kits) to Ritz...

We have been visiting this property since shortly after it first opened, and we have considered this property our mountain home for many years now. So many pluses - first, this enormous resort never feels crowded due to excellent architectural design and flow. The hotel has a nice balance of public and private spaces, and places to socialize as well...
