Visiting Boulder to do some running and was looking for a quiet place, particularly since part of my visit would be during parent's weekend at CU. Couldn't have picked a better spot. From the moment I walked into my room I knew it was exactly what I wanted: a very clean and spacious room with a kitchenette. Basic laundry facilities...

Off the beaten path but right on a running one that connects guests to Boulder's quintessential trail network, Twin Lakes is like an upgraded, private room hostel where you'll find a lot of international runners on any given, due to both the owners being former Olympic runners. Good communal areas for teams; rooms are large but basic furnishings and amenities.

This is tucked away in a modest subdivision northeast of Boulder, maybe halfway to Longmont. On the positive side, it is not far from anything in this area and is reasonably priced for the area, especially if you have a dog. The negative side is a much longer list however. Although it is not far from anything, it is not...

Surprised to find this place in the middle of an upscale and quiet residential area. Room was large with two queens and a sofa bed, and had a little kitchenette. All the people working at the desk were helpful. If you want the Hampton Inn, this isn't it. Breakfast adequate but ordinary. There is only one key to the room...

Built as an office block in the 80's it's been converted into a hotel. Very welcoming, EXCELLENT beds, good breakfast, great facilities in the room. No kettle but maybe that's an expectation of the English (we do like our tea). Staff were friendly and it lived up to its rating. Recommended!

The Boulder Twin Lakes Inn is actually in a suburb, inexplicably, inside a residential neighborhood. We thought the GPS had malfunctioned. We walked in to a very bad smell in lobby, but it abated in a couple hours. Overall, we had a nice stay, and were lucky to find a room anywhere near Boulder due to evacuations from a wild...

We stayed for on 2 nights on our first family trip to Colorado last week. We arrived after driving 14 hours, check in was very easy, our room was huge and comfy. This hotel is dated (think 80's) in style however, it is very homey and had everything we needed. Free breakfast each morning was great. There are trails right...

I wasn't sure what to expect from the inn, but was happily surprised. Rooms were quite large, beds were comfortable, there was also a sofa, small table and chairs, fridge and microwave. Breakfast was included--just the basics, but enough to get you started in the morning. To me, this would be a great place to stay for several days. While...

The Twin Lakes Inn was a mixed bag. On the plus side: the room was enormous, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the location was ideal for us. We have family in the nearby neighborhood, and the just-slightly-out-of-town spot is a great base to explore from, with the beautiful lakes and park just next...

This is a very friendly place and I hadn't realized that it was a haven for runners too! There's lovely walking/jogging trails across the street from the hotel - around the Twin Lakes. You can also walk easily to a fantastic brewery from the hotel as well. (Avery). There's another great walking/jogging/birdwatching spot a 5-minute drive away - the Walden...
