Do not hesitate to stay at the Crystal Peak Lodge, we travelled from the U.K. and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We had a 2 bed apartment which was spacious and well fitted out. The addition of a full kitchen with utensils was great. The location is perfect and is truly ski in ski out. Check in was a breeze and the restaurant right next door was great for breakfast and snacks. The hotel is well connected in terms of ski lifts and has easy access into town with a free Uber style shuttle. We would highly recommend!

In terms of location for skiing you cannot beat this location. Literally roll out of bed, put your boots on, walk down the hall and grab your skis and walk out of ski locker 15 feet from Independence ski lift. You also are right at the gondola site to go to peak 8 or into town. Beware the gondola coming back from town closes at 4 pm.
The accommodations are good. We got a one bedroom condo, could not secure a 2 bedroom. The kitchen is with well running, clean appliances. The coffee maker did not work and they immediately brought new one. The view is beautiful off a small balcony My only complaint is kind of older furniture in the living room that had been sprayed by so much febreeze that we had to keep airing out the room . I guess thats not a big deal it really made me want to stay out of the room, During covid if you need something from housekeeping they will bring it, but they will not be cleaning the condo daily which is not different than we had experienced at other condos before covid.
You are provided with coffee. We went down to ask about tea and there is none to be had. We asked if there were any shops onsite to buy and told no. So if you need milk or something quick I guess you go into town.
I would very much recommend that you do your grocery shopping before you get to the mountains. There are some tiny, understocked, overpriced shops in the town of Breckenridge. There is not a place to get small things onsite such as milk.
So basically this is the most convenient to skiing condo I have ever stayed at. There are a few things to maneuver for amenities. I would give this a 4.5 if I could. I just cant find the condo a 5. If I were not here to ski I would go elsewhere.

Highly recommend the Crystal Peak Lodge when staying in Breckenridge. The "condo" we stayed in was a 2 bedroom + den and the den had a queen bed. Three full bathrooms. A wonderful kitchen and spacious balcony with great views. A short walk to the gondola. Exceptional property with wonderful amenities.

Room was 80 degrees , staff did not help wanted our family to open the balcony window ( temp outside 29 degrees) and go to sleep . Staff was very rude , hung up when requesting help . One of the guys told us that it is our problem as we reserved the room . Spent 6k for 3 nights for the worst stay ever

We had 6 adults in our party. Upon arrival, our first unit had: broken sleeper, broken blinds, broken doors, busted screen door that was off its track. No locks on doors. We were moved to a new room since a couch/sleeper was a necessity for a group of 6. This room had leaky kitchen faucet, broken blinds, broken window cranks, a toaster that was broken. There were small kitchen appliances that would have been nice to have on hand. A blender for drinks would be a great start. A simple pizza cutter wasn't available. The biggest issue: no staff available to address issues, answer questions, etc. For $1,000+ per night, what a disappointment.

We experienced a very disappointing stay at the Crystal Peak Lodge…RM#7008. If you stay here bare in mind it is NOT staffed!! There is no lobby check in and very little attention to guests in this building. Our condo was very run down and there were server also problems as soon as we arrived. Our room did not have a working thermostat and it was 79*+ unless we opened doors or windows… our fireplace would not come on…. After fidgeting with gas and pooled we were able to get it to light once. Then it went off and would not come back one. The TV was not working… lamps in living room would not work on outlet and had to move and plug into different outlets to get light in living room. The dishwasher ran and we were thrilled until we went to unload dishwasher and had to rewatch all dishes by hand. The carpets were disgusting… not a real deal breaker… but seriously cleaning could have been better. To top it all off our room got broke into!! We were took the Gondola to Breck town and when we came back the door jam wood had been broken and we had to call security. Do yourself a favor… spend your money a different property!!!!

Terribly shabby furniture let’s the property down. We stayed in room 102 and the furniture was appalling. I will upload photos that show the lounge has collapsed and you sit on the springs, the arm on the one seater have collapsed. All the timber furniture is badly marked and the blinds are broken. This is a Vail property and it’s simply not good enough. It’s a shame as the property is otherwise good and the lift access is brilliant. Don’t stay here.

No housekeeping service during a 7 night stay did little to make us feel clean and safe during a pandemic despite the resort's assertions this is why they discontinued the services. Had to request clean towels more than a day in advance. No hot tub, no sauna, no amenities of any kind yes right next door at Grand Lodge on peak 7 the hot tubs were obviously open and being enjoyed by guests far wiser than us.....will never book accommodations with Crystal Peak again.

We stayed at Crystal Peak Lodge Jan. 30, 2021 through Feb. 5, 2021. The two bedroom condo was very spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. It felt up to date. The staff was very friendly and helpful in resolving any little issue that came up. (For example, the t.v. in the family room did not work right at first. It was fixed less than 30 minutes after we called about it.). The convenience of the Crystal Peak Lodge is hard to beat. It is literally steps to the Peak 7 lift. If you need to ski green runs (none available on Peak 7), you can take a 5 minute gondola ride over to peak 8. The gondola is also just steps away from the lodge. There is free garage parking, so you can easily drive the 5 minutes into town. I am sure there are other ways to get to town, but we liked driving our own car. We will definitely stay at this lodge in the future.

The location of this property is the best! The amenities were great! Having the BrekConnect out front, ski rental and restaurant just steps away couldn’t be beat, along with the great shuttle service! We were very happy with our first visit to the area. Our condo 7310 was perfect for our family of 4. Can’t wait to return!

We have shuttles into town from Crystal Peak Lodge but walking into town is not really feasible. At Crystal Peak you would be very close to Peak 8 and Epic Discovery. From Peak 9 you can walk into town but would have to take a shuttle up to the Epic Discovery activities at Peak 8, so all depends on your priorities.
Yes there is. My husband arranged his rental ahead of time and they had everything ready for him when he arrived. You can buy goggles in the ski shop (in the same room as the rental shop) but I don't know if you can rent goggles. My husband brought his own helmet too, so don't know if you can rent helmets. You can call the ski/rental shop though, and they will answer all your questions. They were very helpful and friendly.
There are more places to choose from in the Breckenridge area.
