It's hard to beat a suite hotel where you have a separate room as a living room and a good sized kitchen. Not that we really used the kitchen, but there was a lot of space to stretch out during our three days there.

The king sized bed was comfortable. There was a plethora of pillows available. The bathroom featured a walk in shower with plenty of water pressure (which is always critical in a good hotel!). The black out curtains in the separate bedroom were perfect and the exterior noise was minimal because of the the way this 4-story hotel stretches in from the main drag.

Finally, what a great breakfast. Sure, the standard stuff like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. But what made it so great was the attendants who constantly resupplied everything down to the cereal, bread, and yogurt. There was plenty of seating and, for once, not a giant TV featuring the morning news droning in the background.

The next time I am in town, this would be a solid first choice.

This hotel is located just steps away from Breckenridge's walkable business district and is directly across the street from the popular Breckenridge Brewery as well as the newer location of Broken Compass Brewing. The hotel is reasonably attractive, inside and out. For a residence suite, the room is of just modest size, but has a full kitchen and decent dining table. It has a big television and everything is very clean. The bathroom is small to modest size and include an oddly placed door stopper mounted to the floor near the bathtub where the bathmat would typically be placed, so it's easy to accidentally hit when entering or exiting the tub/shower. The bathroom lacks a fan. The front desk staff was nice. Free parking is appreciated, though it should be with the cost of the rooms. I do wish Residence Inns gave higher tier Bonvoy at least a little more love rather than just "points or a pantry item" -- some bottles of water would be a welcome addition. The breakfast was fair, but kudos to them for offering both hot and cold items, with guests choosing what they want. On that note, I wish they'd put the coffee and tea out for self-service. A nearby hand sanitizer dispenser can mitigate as well as anything.

Stayed here for a week in an accessible room with two beds. Hotel looks in good condition just walls kind of thin. Room is comfortable and big enough for two to share and enough space to do yoga. Full kitchen and high table with 4 chairs plus a single pullout couch. Bed quite comfortable with good lighting. Shower is hot although a bit tricky to use the heavy handheld. And accessible meaning water could flood the bathroom as there is a very low barrier. Breakfast is ok, the standard fare, with eggs and sausage, bacon sometimes and vegan patties. Spacious lobby/breakfast room with high ceilings - the only public space in the hotel to go read or work (if there are no noisy kids nearby). Hot tub outdoors with mountain view, gets crowded after 4 pm. Pool not working at time of stay, it's tiny only double the size of the hot tub anyway. Small ski storage room off lobby. Free shuttle to slopes, 5-10 minutes depending on which peak you are going to. No set time going, call shuttle driver directly for pickup and usually works pretty fast. Downtown is a short walk as hotel is right on the edge of Main Street. Overall a good convenient place to stay. Kitchen and free breakfast definitely a plus.

As we love Marriott and stay at their properties almost exclusively worldwide, we found this place to be a disappointment.
Trouble began at check-in. The staff was unable to answer simple questions or provide move things along in an expedient manner. As this was ski season, and a Saturday, it was naturally crowded at the front-desk and the staff seemed overwhelmed. There was a check-in terminal not being used at the time and perhaps that was not the best move.
I doubt that the employees are normally rude but they were far, far from polite in that situation.

There is basically no housekeeping - although they told us that at check-in a heads up BEFORE arriving would have been nice.
That is something we can do for ourselves, though. But the public areas of the hotel did not get a great deal of care and this was in a fully-booked place, so it tended to get messy.

Trying to get extra towels was just a run-around. Eventually my wife went and got us some herself. She took many more than we needed just to ensure we would have enough for our stay. Of course, this meant more washing of towels that weren't used and a waste of water and energy.
There were never any clean towels at the pool/hot tub that I saw just large empty shelves. Not good when it is snowing.
The sheets were clean, but they did not actually fit on the mattresses!

The "bar lounge" was out of most everything every time I looked. There is a large supermarket and liquor store couple of blocks away, so they could have at least replaced the beer! The little snack and convenience grotto was also out of most everything. Naturally families with kids buy a lot of that stuff after a day of skiing, but I don't know if they didn't have enough stock or if they simply didn't bother replacing it.

The parking lot and garage are fairly small, so I sort of understand charging $20 for the parking, but that also would have been good to know before reserving the room.

The rooms and hallways are not well sound-insulated which means the hundreds of ski boots clomping around make a serious racket. OF COURSE there are ski boots by a ski resort - they should have planned for that!

There is a nice outdoor seating area with a large fire pit, but I never saw it lit during the weekend. It was lit Monday morning as we were leaving.

I hope this doesn't sound nit-picky but all the above complaints came together to negatively impact the stay.

The breakfast was fine and typical Marriott, and I found the breakfast staff to be the best of the bunch.

They did a good job keeping the front entrance and lot cleared of snow.

BTW, Breck is a great little town and is certainly walkable from the hotel. If you do stay here, go across the street at the closest light and walk past Lululemon into a plaza. Go to the back of the plaza (by Quandary Restaurant) and get a crepe from the crepe truck parked back there!

Overall the property seemed timeworn and a little shabby. Not terrible, but certainly not Marriott quality. However, they still charge Marriott resort prices!

I came here with a group of friends, spent a lot of money to stay here and was very disappointed by the staff. Room service was non existent whatsoever, we had to go ask for clean towels and toilet paper, which came up an hour later after we asked. Front desk was very rude, acted like they didnt want to help us because we were college students. They gave us noise complaints exactly at 9pm for just talking, no tv on or music and they still said we were still loud. If you are going with a group of friends, I would highly avoid this hotel for the price that we paid.

422jacksonk, Thank you for your review. I appreciate that you felt the hotel was too strict with you for noise, however you did sign a waiver for the rules and regulations for the hotel while you were staying with your college group. It was made very clear that there would be zero tolerance for loud behavior after the hotels quiet hours. We are very strict with your type of group so you are not negatively impacting the rest of our guests in the hotel, we have not been strict previously and it caused huge issues that the guest causing the issue was charged for what we needed to compensate the negatively affected guests. For the whole week your group was here we only needed to warn three rooms that would evict them if they didn't quiet down, to which we were met with derogatory name calling to the woman staff member, who asked the group members to quiet down. If you were talked to by the staff I hope that it wasn't you that called our female staff members such vile names. Housekeeping comes on the 3rd night of your stay unless you need service sooner and you request we are happy to accommodate that request and get you taken care of.

Checking out today so leaving a review while it’s all fresh in my mind. The hotel is very clean and in a great location. The breakfast is good, but it does get extremely crowded. The staff working the breakfast buffet work very hard at keeping it going smoothly and replenished. We had a studio room and it was spacious and clean. Loved the kitchenette and counter space in bathroom. We did not use it, but they do have a laundry room so guests can wash/dry clothes. The shuttle to the gondola was fast and convenient.

To me, 5 stars mean PERFECT and no improvement needed. I’m leaving 4 stars for a couple reasons.

1. No housekeeping. You can request it, but it’s not automatically provided - even for a 5 night stay. There were a lot of housekeeping carts in the hall so I replenished our towels myself and emptied our trash. I could have called and requested it, but did not want to deal with calling. For $600+ a night it would be nice if it was provided (w/o asking after 2 or 3 nights. All hotels are not offering maid service these days and it’s probably the way it will be forever. Cutting costs and using Covid as the forever reason. Guests should never even have to consider cleaning their own room.

2. No recognition whatsoever and no benefits for Marriott Gold. This seems to be an ongoing thing for Marriott so I’m not too surprised.

3. Walls seem to be very thin. I could hear everything in the hallway and it felt like they were playing tennis in the room above me.

One of the downsides of staying in a ski town in the summer is that the accommodations are really geared toward winter ski travelers. We were only in town for one night, but it seems like every room in town comes with a kitchen with appliances, dishes, etc, making the room more expensive for things we don't need. This was a clean and comfortable room, though we were given a handicapped-accessible room, which we did not need and would have preferred a standard room.

Disappointed in our 5 day ski trip. Housekeeping did not tend to our room, never changed our sheets, and when we asked for new ones, they dropped a bag of sheets at our door and had us do it ourselves. Employees at the front desk were rude and unhelpful when asked simple questions. Security is constantly roaming the halls and we got frequent noise complaints despite being at a normal noise level. Would not recommend.

Good Evening, We apologize for the inconsistent linen change and not doing a full refresh to your room upon request. This should have been communicated properly on our end and we apologize for failing these expectations. We had a security team here for a group that was in house that was large enough to make is necessary to bring them onboard for the week. If you want to discuss any other issues or concerns then please feel free to contact the hotel directly. Thank you and we hope you enjoyed the town of Breckenridge and our property.

Hotel is close to Main St on the far south end. Easy walk to everything and Main Station is across the street for the free buses.

Breakfast is ample and is a full American breakfast. Only complaint is lack of adequate tables. Food is good and hot.

The rooms are kept clean and well appointed. Although there is no 24/7 coffee in the lounge you do have coffee in your room. The rooms have a kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, utensils and dishwasher. Easily can prepare meals and groceries available at City Market aka Kroger.

The bar is my disappointment. The bar is open Thursday to Monday from 3 pm to 9 pm. They have happy hour 3-5 pm but don’t honor happy hour prices posted; they charge full price. They have a limited menu, no dining room and I did not see anyone order pub food. They advertise live music Thursdays but again I didn’t see any live music, just the piped in overhead music in the lobby.

Parking is ample and free. They have a heated garage with parking for compact cars.

There are many options for hotels in Breck and this one is a good choice if you come here during the summer as it has AC; a lot of hotels do not and at altitude you appreciate AC after a day of hiking or biking.

This hotel has many good things going on, including a nice view of the mountains on the 3rd floor from the pool area. The hotel is well appointed, staff is considerate and takes time to listen & explain things to you. It appears to be very popular with guests, but there is enough room to lounge around. Dogs are welcome and you see many people with their pets here. The location is good to walk to downtown shops & restaurants (or in case you suffer from high altitude sickness, a short drive). Parking is $20 a day at the hotel. Overall a good base for this quaint mountain town, while nothing really stands out, it has many standard features of a hotel in this category.
