Let's file this one under "too cool for school." Yes, the location is ideal, and overall, the hotel and its facilities are fine. But:

- The $40 daily parking fee is egregious and obnoxious midweek in summer, especially when the town essentially prohibits parking anywhere between 2am and 6am

- Why no self-service coffee tanks in the lobby for those that don't want something fancy from the hip coffee shop, or want something earlier? The "coffee bags" in the room don't cut it. Being able to grab a simple cup of coffee on my own would have been a big upgrade. What does a coffee cannister cost from a local coffee service?

- Speaking of the coffee shop, which one must use: my service experience there was not great

- Not a fan of QR codes for room/hotel info inside the room, and what was posted was incomplete anyhow

The hot tubs and the scene there are nice and it opens at 8AM. So why were there still people cleaning them and the floors at 9AM?

Mostly first-world problems, no doubt. But still.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the location and the hot tubs, but we’re sorry to learn that certain aspects of your stay fell short of expectations. We understand your frustration with the parking fee. Our aim is to provide the best experience for all our guests, and your feedback on the parking situation is invaluable. We’ll review this policy to ensure it aligns with our guests' needs and expectations. Regarding the coffee situation, we appreciate your input. Offering self-service coffee in the lobby is a great suggestion, and we’ll certainly consider it as we work on enhancing our amenities. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the coffee service in our shop; your feedback will be shared with our team to improve the experience. We’re also taking note of your concerns about the QR codes and the room information. Providing comprehensive and easily accessible information is important to us, and we’ll work on improving this aspect for future guests. As for the timing of hot tub maintenance, we’ll address this with our team to ensure that any necessary cleaning is done in a way that doesn’t disrupt guests' enjoyment. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We genuinely value your insights as they help us enhance our services. We hope to have the opportunity to exceed your expectations on a future visit.

So first positives, we did really enjoy our stay at Gravity Haus. We were a party of 3 adults and 6 kids and I will say I didn't feel this was a particularly family friendly resort. The walls are thin and our kids weren't being loud but we got a noise complaint. We also arrived on NYE and the restaurant had music going 2 floors below us until after midnight and it traveled through the walls like nothing. It didn't bother us too much but I was on edge the entire time worried our kids just doing normal things, not yelling and carrying on, were going to disturb people around us. There also wasn't anything at the resort for the kids to really do, it just seemed more geared to adults only, which is fine. We loved the ski in/ski out aspect and it made things really easy, especially with the kids. It was a great location! The worst thing about this place though is the bathroom. None of us could understand what the designer was thinking when they chose this. It's a barn door type bathroom door that doesn't close. It leaves a couple inch gap. We were in one of their biggest rooms, the crash pad, meant for I believe 9-10 people? Maybe this would be ok for a couple or fine if you're traveling alone but with lots of people this is crazy. The door is easily slid open if you're showering and warning..it contains no sounds or smells. All of our party would leave the room and go to the bathrooms on other floors to use the restroom because no one felt comfortable with basically going in front of our entire party. Also, they need to add some clothing storage, there are no dressers or closet space just a couple coat racks hanging. We also felt like we were trying to be sold on something everywhere. In our room was a TON of drinks and snacks for purchase, Gravity Haus gear you could take with you and be charged for. Whereas the next resort we stayed had free snacks in room and lobby. Just would be a nice touch or even just leave it out completely so as not to make the guests feel like you're constantly trying to charge more. Warning you do have to pay for parking and only one vehicle per room, so we parked our other by the ice rink which is very close and cheaper to park at anyway. The valet service at Gravity Haus was nice, but it does cost $35 a day plus any tips you give. Overall we did really like the place and the staff was excellent, always very friendly. We would probably stay here again, but really hope they change that bathroom door.

Thank you for your review! I sent you a private email a few days ago, and appreciate you engaging with me on your feedback. For the benefit of the TripAdvisor community that may have questions about your feedback, I wanted to respond to your post on this platform as well. I totally agree with you on the bathroom doors, this was a design miss and we are working towards a permanent solution. We should have a remedy in the very near future and hope you can come back and give us your feedback again once the doors are remedied. We do have luggage racks available upon request as well, so please let us know how we can help ensure you are well situated in your room next time you stay at the Haus. I understand that the "sell the room" concept did not land well with you and will take that feedback to my executive team for consideration. We are always working to use our guest feedback to improve our product, and appreciate you raising this concern. I am glad you were able to utilize the Ice Rink lot, that is a great, less expensive option for travelers who are not interested in valet, thank you for sharing this tip!

Given the Gravity Haus literally opened last month, I don’t think it the other reviews are totally fair. Every business is going to have some kinks to work out in the first few months they are open so that’s on you if you made a reservation opening week and expect a flawless experience. That being said, there are definitely some misses that can be improved upon an otherwise pleasant stay.

We were able to snag a last-minute deal on HotelsTonight.com and saved some money on the list price. The parking fee is $35 but we were expecting this and honestly it was great. They valet the car, bring your luggage to your room, and repack your car when you’re leaving which made check in and checkout hassle free. The lobby and main floor are gorgeous with modern/rustic touches like chairlift seating and a massive fireplace. The free cocoa and drink vouchers are a nice touch.

Our room was cozy and comfortable with some eco-friendly additions like reusable cups and mugs that you can purchase should you want a souvenir. We didn’t have any issues with exterior or interior noise as some people have mentioned but I will agree that the sliding barn door to the bathroom is quite awkward. If you are sitting on the bed, you get a direct view to the toilet. Even making these doors a little bigger would solve this issue.

The spa area was nice with big garage doors that could open- I wish they were open when we were there! The restaurant and bar and lounge areas are all great. The restaurant and bar has lots of space and a funky ski house vibe. Staff was friendly, and the food was quite good. Maybe a little pricey, but honestly worth not having to trek outside for a good meal.

Overall, for being open a month and a half, I was pleasantly surprised. If I had paid full price I would have been a little more disappointed, but that’s why it pays to be a bargain hunter! A few fixes and improvements needed but I see definite potential in Gravity Haus!

Your review just made my night! I truly appreciate you taking the time to share details of the various programming that made an impact, like the hot chocolate and eco-friendly touches in the guest rooms! I am so glad that this special touches resonated with you! The garage doors in the Onsen we are always happy to open whenever we get a request, so just call the front desk before you head down next time so we can have someone meet you to open the doors up, it is such an awesome vibe with the fresh air when the doors are open! Please let me know when you come back next so I can personally thank you for being one of our early ambassadors of the property! We appreciate your business and your vote of confidence very much. We are eager for our next opportunity to host you at the Haus. Cheers! Kind Regards, Shannon Best sbest@vailresorts.com

While I know that each hotel has 5-star reviews, I would highly recommend reviewing the 1-3 star reviews on this hotel, as they seem to all have the same theme. A/C-heating issues, outdated rooms, and poor service from housekeeping, among other things. Until changes are made, I would reconsider staying with Gracity Haus.

I had the most disappointing and distressing experience at Gravity Haus Breckenridge during my stay from January 17 to January 20, 2025. Despite being a frequent traveler accustomed to premier accommodations, this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever endured.

From the moment we checked into room 403, the issues began. The heater was not functioning properly, blowing cold air on one of the coldest weekends of the year (-8°F), and we were provided only one set of towels. When I reported this to the front desk, I was met with excuses about the age of the building and promises of a towel delivery the next day, which never happened.

To make matters worse, I experienced a medical emergency late Friday night and returned from the hospital with an oxygen machine I was required to use 24/7. Despite explaining the critical nature of my health condition, no adjustments were made to address the freezing temperatures in the room, forcing me to endure the cold and jeopardize my health further.

Two days later, the power went out in our room, cutting off access to necessary oxygen support. When my wife sought assistance from the staff, she was met with antagonism, dismissive behavior, and outright disrespect. Despite emphasizing the life-threatening nature of the situation, the staff treated it with indifference, offering unhelpful suggestions like “use your phone” to navigate in the dark—this while knowing we couldn’t charge our devices due to the lack of power.

The power was eventually restored after hours of waiting, but only after my wife returned to our room distraught and in tears over the complete lack of concern from the staff. Maintenance resolved the issue in under five minutes, proving it could have been addressed much earlier if given proper attention.

Throughout the stay, the staff’s nonchalant attitudes and blatant disregard for basic hospitality and human decency were appalling. Towels that were promised never arrived, the heater issue remained unresolved, and the level of service was shockingly poor for a property that markets itself as an upscale experience.

This experience was not just an inconvenience—it was a gross failure on the part of Gravity Haus to provide even the most basic standards of care, especially given my medical needs.

I cannot recommend Gravity Haus to anyone; the disregard for guest well-being, compounded by poor service and unprofessional staff behavior, is unacceptable.

I strongly advise prospective guests to reconsider their booking decision, as this establishment's lack of accountability and care has the potential to transform a relaxing getaway into a nightmare.

Restaurant was good. Location is great. Reception was obnoxious. Too cool to even have basic niceties. It was apparently a bother for us to check in. So fending for ourselves to figure out where things were, we found our room and the layout. First thing to note: noise. Ear plugs on your nightstands b/c nothing is sound proofed. You hear ski boots trudging thru the halls at all hours of the night along with every word of every conversation on the entire floor. Earplugs don’t help. It sounds like a factory. Second: be careful whom you ask basic questions to. It is made clear this is an inconvenience to whomever you ask. Only 1 person in 4 days was not annoyed to be asked a quick yes/no question. I seldom ask any b/c I like to explore places on my own, but simple basics like getting clean towels and what time do the lifts open should not merit barking at guests. Third: house keeping. If we saw them at all it was a miracle. We did not have the do not disturb sign on so I can only conclude they show up when it’s you last day. We had to ask for basics like fresh towels and toilet paper and house keeping yelled at me for the request. Stay elsewhere. The convenience to the slopes is not worth the attitude you are subjected to.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and one room looked out over a bank of of air conditioners and the other was within arms length hotel air handler. No one goes to the mountains and expects that kind of view. Not having a mountain view, fine, being able to reach out the window and touch the air handler, unacceptable. Our room (204) should not be rented. At the very least it should come with a warning and a discount. As, frankly, should all the rooms that are on the back L of the building. They all overlook what amounts to an industrial site, which for a mountain experience, is never the dream. We came from the city to escape the city and were met with an industrial experience that was much worse than the city.

Everyone who worked at the hotel was perfectly nice. But to rent 2 rooms for 2 nights as a vacation escape from the city and be given rooms that were terrible was really insulting and nothing was done to try and ameliorate that bad will. Whoever designed this hotel and whoever decided that those rooms were rent quality should be fired. An atrocious experience.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your recent stay at Gravity Haus Breckenridge. I genuinely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us understand where we need to improve. I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience with the room locations and the views. We understand that our guests come to the mountains seeking a serene and picturesque environment, and I apologize that we fell short in providing that for you. Room 204, along with others facing the back of the building, does not meet our standards for comfort and enjoyment, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We will review our room assignments and consider clearer descriptions for rooms with less desirable views to ensure future guests have realistic expectations. I’m glad to hear that you found our staff to be friendly and accommodating. They strive to provide excellent service, and it’s unfortunate that we were unable to rectify the situation during your stay. Your feedback regarding the communication and support provided to you is invaluable, and we will work to ensure our team is better equipped to address guest concerns in the future. I truly regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and left you feeling disappointed. Please know that we take your comments seriously, and I will share your insights with our management team to enhance our offerings and improve our guest experience. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope you might consider staying with us again, giving us the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience.

Depending on what you are looking for this may or may not be the hotel for you. The location is perfect if you are looking for something within walking distance to shops, places to eat, or ski lifts as it’s located right off Main Street. We didn’t see a parking lot so we used their valet service and it was $35 a night which isn’t bad for one night but if you are staying for four nights it gets expensive. Check in is at 4pm. We arrived with our group at 130 and they allowed us to valet and store our luggage downstairs. They had one of our two rooms ready. No big deal we were early, they said they would call us when our room was ready. After 4pm we went to check in and it still was not ready. We went around the corner for a glass of wine and finally got the call closer to 430. We checked in and they said our luggage would be in our room. We got to our room and no luggage. We called down stairs and they said they would locate it and bring it up right away. 10-15 minutes later we got our luggage. So it was after 515 that we were finally changed and were ready to meet our family to explore the town. They did give us a $50 voucher for their cabin juice restaurant to make up for this inconvenience. The room was small but nicely decorated. The breakfast that you pay separately for was overpriced for what you get. They do not sell bottles of water bc they are eco friendly, so bring your own or at least bring something you can fill up at the water station. The staff was hit or miss in terms of being friendly or helpful. Tim who took our breakfast order was super friendly and we had one bartender who was nice on the day we arrived while we waited for our room to be ready. On our last day we decided to have lunch and drinks at the hotel. All was fine at first but then we waited at least 30 minutes with empty drinks for the bartender to come bring our check. We stopped by the front desk because we were almost out of toilet paper and they said it would be sent to our room, but never was. As others have mentioned you can hear most everything going on in the halls. The doors slam pretty loudly so if other guests come in late prepare to hear them slam it’s really loud in your room. For the price we paid I feel we could have picked a different hotel and had a better stay and service. Can’t say that we will stay here again.

I don't usually give 5 star reviews, but this place really exceeded my expectations in a number of ways. First, the price was very reasonable for a central location in downtown Breckenridge. Second, the staff were super friendly and helpful . Finally, I really appreciated the decor in the room with lots of wood and comfortable furnishings (not the generic or over-the-top luxury furnishings in some hotels); the multiple hot tubs were great too.

Upon penetrating the front door of gravity haus, we were immediately satisfied. The front desk associates were extremely welcoming and assured that in case of emergency, the back door was easily accessible. After riding the shaft of the elevator we arrived at our room. We were immediately impressed by the well-positioned mirrors combined with the counter height, made exploring every inch and crevasse of the room pleasurable. The AC unit was phenomenal but seems to operate best at a stout 69 degrees. The complementary electrolyte station allowed for ample rounds at every peak. The views allowed us to see the tips of the mountains which was tantalizing but also satisfactory. The velvety robes allowed for quick access to the beef jerky bar. 10/10, would come again. Well done, Haus!

Most people come to the Gravity Haus/Breck for leisure, but I had business in town and stayed overnight for that. My room was set up well for the business travel. There was a nice desk with plenty of outlets and chargers. The wireless internet was fast, easy to connect to and reliable. A good night's sleep is essential for business travel. I got one, thanks to the quiet room and the comfort of the spacious bed.

Looking past the business amenities, the room had a few quirks. There was no dresser, just shelves. There was only a single hanger in the room that had a bar or clips for pants. The room had a ton of marketing materials on display, including a large set of snacks that made me feel that I was staying in a Cracker Barrel. There did not appear to be a room service menu in the room.

The hotel bills itself as a "club" with various upcharges for those like me who are not "members." Had this not been a resort town I would have found this more objectionable. For my purposes, the room was fine

Jayden, Gravity Haus is ski-in, ski-out from the Peak 9 quicksilver lift. You do need to walk your skis from the hotel across the plaza to get to the snow its less than a 1 minute walk through the heated peak 9 pedestrian plaza. Peak 9 is the only base area that is located walking distance to downtown Breck also.
Answer from Gravity Haus
