If you are looking for nice accommodations in a fantastic location and you don't need mints on your pillows or 1600 thread count sheets, this is the place for you. Our family has used Wayside for years and we always have excellent attention from Tom and Patty. 5 minutes from Breck and 20 from Keystone.

My Husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. When we arrived the lady at the front desk was very nice. She checked us in and told us about the breakfast in the mornings. The first morning there we did not wake up early enough to get the breakfast since it ended at 10am. We checked out the breakfast the...

I stayed here with a friend for a ski vacation. The amenities weren't luxurious, but we weren't expecting that for a low-budget place. My real issue with this hotel is that without any notice, no water was available on two afternoons. On the first afternoon, I went to the front desk and they explained there was an emergency plumbing situation....

.....with an upgrade. Liked to "retro" vibe of this place but upon closer inspection it's just shabby. The door to our room showed daylight on all 4 sides--not the best for Colorado cold weather....but heater in room worked like a charm--a noisy charm that clanked and banged to the point of waking me up out of a sound sleep! Beds...

We found this through Yelp as we were on a cross-country trip. It's your old-fashioned 1960's (maybe even 50's) style one-story motel sort of on the side of the road a few miles out of town (not too far). The reception area is homey. Rooms are no frills but we didn't need anything special. I just felt cozy here. Bed...

Ambiance: 8 Cleanliness: 9 Physical maintained: 5 This is what was looking for: No frills. I would return here any day. Room was clean, sheets and bedding clean. I have stayed in worse places. Here are some suggestions for improvement: Replace ceiling tile above shower. Paint peeling in bathroom. Doors could use a coat of paint. Mattress could be replaced....

The check-in process was very easy even though we arrived late. The locations is outside of the town by just a few miles, but very close to the sleigh ride and Nordic activities. The rooms were small and cozy and resembled a small cabin. The breakfast that's served in the morning isn't bad either.

At first glance it seems like a nice place to stay... until I had to wait at the front desk for the gentleman to finish up his personal call on his phone. He just looked at me and put his hand up. He then became very rude when I was asking simple questions about my stay. Whatever I can deal...

Nice clean hotel. Very reasonable price especially considering the location. Clean and quiet. Hot shower and friendly staff. Wildlife was all around. Saw a fox in the parking lot and a moose. Mike up the road. Definitely recommend.

This is a great hotel for a cheap ski weekend in Breckenridge. A group of three of us shared a twin and queen room. You are getting what you pay for, this isn't a high class place but was clean and great for a week spent mostly outdoors and just needing a place to rest you head.
