Missy runs a great hotel. The folks who work there are helpful and friendly. It starts when we checked in with Kelly and continued right on with the best bell guy in America-Dirk. I kid you not the rest of the team is everybit as good. Becky and Phyllis as the concierge’s,Kelly,Sam and Chris at the front desk and all the rest are there to assist you. Thanks to all for a great 2 weeks.

This property is located in a great location, close to the action of Main Street and Quicksilver and Beaver Run Lifts (all no more than a 10-15 minute walk).
Pros: Our place had a hot tub and grills, great shuttle service (dedicated to lifts in early AM and late afternoon which is great for a day on the slopes), ski storage and rental onsite, nicely equipped kitchen, friendly and helpful staff. Maintenance staff was super attentive and kept deck clear of snow and checked the hot tub every day. Kelly, Dirk and Ernesto (sorry did not get more names) were super helpful too.
Cons: all relatively minor - you must like soft pillows, base board heating hard to control unless you like it warm, generally quiet but some guests do like wearing ski boots which is loud on the lower floors, some cleaning supplies remaining in room at check in

Really a well kept property. We had a two bedroom unit. Full kitchen, well appointed with oven, gas burner stove-top, full sized refrig, dishwasher and adequate flatware, glassware, plates, pots and pans. Two full baths with whirlpools. Gas burning fireplace. Balcony with pleasant views of trees, hills and other condos. Three hot tubs available. Nicely appointed workout room with elliptical machines, treadmills and decent weight machines and free weights if not a body builder or serious weight lifter. Game room with ping pong, foosball, air hockey and arcade machines. Some pay but ping pong free. Nice lounge with pool table, game tables and seating areas. Underground parking a positive in snow and cold weather. Really a nice facility. It's proximity to skiing and shopping and dining was a major plus.

Well, as former Diamond members, our expectations for a HGVC resort were much higher than what we found. So dark inside, I could not believe some of the low lumen lights, everywhere inside. Could not see at all. The resort just needs a refresh to lighten it up. Units were small, dark, and with a lot of things looking pretty shabby and broken. We actually cut our stay short, because we just did not want to be there. If this is an indication of HGV resorts, then we will convert all our points to Hilton Honors and just go to hotels. We were in a one bedroom unit, and so tiny. Dark, dark, dark. No restaurant or food facilities, some vending machines is it! I've included some pictures of the ripped lamp shades, broken overhead fan light, the switch to the fireplace that did not work half the time, and the hideous kitchen! C'mon, you put a tiny piece of cloth up to hide the under sink plumbing! Pretty low end looking. The bedroom thermostat did not work, and calls for service were never fulfilled. Sorry, we are pretty flexible and do not demand a lot, but this was not good, and Hilton should be ashamed. You have a good location, but it was not a nice place to be.

First off we are not members, we were guests of members. Our 2 bedroom unit on the third floor had plenty of room. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The unit was not as clean as it should have been. Heavy dust on ceiling fans and base floor heaters. We took advantage of the mid week cleaning, which was done nicely, with heavy dust still remaining. When we checked out the manager explained they were getting ready to do the six month cleaning. I personally think dust should be a normal duty. The service removed all the shopping bags we were saving under the kitchen sink (as they charge for them at every store) along with the bathrobes we had from the resort. Half of the garage was closed which made parking a real test. Had to let passengers out of car before parking as too tight of a fit between cars. Not sure why the hallway was being cleaned with Clorox water and the smell was so strong we had to open our outside door in order to get rid of the smell in our room. The staff at the front was very nice and answered all questions we had. The shuttle service was nice and we used it once. Hot tubs were well taken care of and we used the pool table as well one evening. The outdoor grill area was closed for service but it did look like a nice area. The location can't be beat but for a Hilton I would have expected cleaner units. As stated we are not members and the impression we left with is we see no reason to be members.

We absolutely loved our stay at this lodge. It was close to downtown and had everything needed for a weeks vacation. The beds and pillows were comfy and the place had every amenity needed. Soaps, shampoo, hair conditioners, hand and body lotions. Coffee, creamer and sugars. Dish and dishwasher soap. A full kitchen so you could cook if you wanted to. Also a complimentary shuttle if you wanted a ride downtown to shop or eat. The lodge is nestled in the mountains among a beautiful tree filled setting. There was a game room, work out facility, pool, hot tub and lounge - all beautifully decorated. If you needed anything, you just texted or stopped by the front desk and the cheerful staff would help you out. I couldn't believe how friendly and helpful the entire staff was! Everyone in our group agreed that this was an excellent place to stay!

We had a very nice and clean two bedroom unit. Each bedroom had a jet tub with the master's being a double jet tub and also a walk in shower. There was a nice balcony to sit on. The furniture was newer witch sometimes RCI units can be dated. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. If your garbage was full you just texted them and put it outside your door and they would pick it up in minutes. Anytime you needed anything, you just texted and they replied within a minute or two. We are in our late 60's so did not check out the gym and game room. The resort was close to stores and a wonderful free gondola to the top of the ski area.

Valdoro is located within walking distance of the main part of town. It has a beautiful setting among the trees. Love the underground parking. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a mountain style.
The best part of Valdoro is the staff! Missy, the manager, is very active in ensuring guests have a great stay. The rest of the staff, including Dirk and Chris, are very friendly and understand hospitality. A special mention of Hayley. We first talked to her in making some room requests, and continued talking with her from checking and throughout the stay. What a gem! She was so friendly and went out of her way to ensure we had a pleasant stay!

We had a wonderful experience at Valdoro this week and I highly recommend it for your next stay. We're fairly regular visitors to Breck and we've driven by this place a hundred times having no idea that it's part of HGV, and what a find. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and the ski valet, ski shop, and shuttle were all timely and efficient. Our 2br unit was spacious and comfy and included a full kitchen with all the supplies we needed. The location just two blocks off main street is perfect for accessing all that Breck has to offer in food, entertainment and shopping. We'll be back for sure!

We booked Valdoro Mountain Lodge Breckenridge because of its location and positive reviews. Our check in was quick and there is garage parking. We were able to walk into town, restaurants, and shops. There was a Free Shuttle available at the Lodge which we utilized for going out at night for dining. Breckenridge also has Free bus transportation through out the area and we used to go to Boreas Pass and up to Peak 7. Our unit was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen, living area, and small outdoor porch on the 5th floor with beautiful views of snow covered mountains.

Hi! We have never been to Breck during a winter holiday, but I know a few restaurants that I believe would do Thanksgiving meals. Briar Rose, Salt Creek, Spencer's and Blue River Bistro might be a little expensive, but nice. The Blue Stag and Modis are on Main street and we have had good meals there. Any of these places you could walk to, if the weather cooperates:) The staff at Valdoro Mountain Lodge were wonderful!! Very nice & helpful, so they will be available. There may be a couple of places in Frisco, which is just 9 miles away. Have a great trip!!
There are more places to choose from in the Breckenridge area.
