"Not worth the money". Let me tell you why. Customer service or any type of hospitality does not exist anywhere on this property. Only 3 of the 5 hot springs pools were open that day we visited due to maintenance issues, yet everyone still had to pay full price. The next day when we checked out of our room, we...

I came with a few girlfriends for a relaxing soak in the pools. we went hiking up the road around cottonwood lake and this was a perfect way to finish a perfect day. We arrived in the late afternoon and almost turned around int he parking lot because while I called it rustic, it is borderline run down. We paid...

The hot springs are fantastic. Five clean clear rock bottom pools from 80 to 105 degrees. The motel not so much. The room was clean but musty, there was no air circulation, and there was so much static electricity that it was uncomfortable to sleep. A floor fan would have been nice. That said, the hot springs were awesome.

No TV. No wifi. Not great cell service. Just peace, quiet, healing waters, fresh mountain air, large clean simply appointedpuffy beds with soft organic bedding, perfect sleep, large clean simply appointed rooms, and an attentive staff who make guests feel right at home. Plus warm feet due to the geothermal system creating heat in the floors. What more could one...

Really special treat just outside Buena Vista. Might be great to couple with a rafting trip on the river. 5 hot spring pools of variable temps. Stayed in one of the cabins - very nice but could use an electic upgrade and heat. ( stayed in April)

I paid for a deep tissue massage at "cottonwood spa"....this IS NOT a spa. Rooms are tiny in an old trailer. The therapist was sick...coughing and sneezing in the tiny room. She rubbed entire body with quick light movements, I don't even know what one could call this style-not swinish, definitely not deep tissue-which I paid extra for. Worst massage...

This is a cozy spot tucked away at the base of the Rockies to the west of Buena Vista. A creek divides the hotel property from the road, giving the peaceful sound of running water anytime you’re outside your room. A feeling of solitude permeates this place. It feels like you could sit here for a month and write a...

We love the vibe and throwback feel of this place and really enjoyed our stay. The pools are great, with varied temperatures and clean-great for a good soak. We don't mind overlooking some things if the price is right, but at this price point it would be nice to have some coffee filters in the room and hot water in...

Dont let the negative reviews scare you. We found them to be so far from the truth it wasnt funny. The rooms are spotless. Heated from the pools themselves. They stay very warm. The pools were awesome!! Very clean, crystal clear. Some were very hot, some very warm and some cooler. All very rustic. Loved the rock formations with built...

We stayed in a riverside cabin. The sound was lovely...but no window on that side. Everything is just funky. Kitchen, yes, but only literally one plug. Must choose stove or coffee maker or toaster... Private hot tub was nice...but we seldom used it because had difficulty regulating temp. See pics...it was over $600 for three nights. I know it includes amazing...
