The gravel sites are OK; nothing spectacular but nothing wrong with them either. They do have a little park with one slide and some swings, but sadly they filled in the pool with sand and labeled it an "event area" but the signs don't change that it's just a filled in pool & pile of sand. The store is cute...

We stayed in a loft cabin over 4th of July weekend. I was impressed with the roominess and the outdoor amenities for the kids. Only because of the weather did I wish there was a bit more space inside the cabins for gathering. They really are just for sleeping. The cabin was cozy and inviting though. My nephew really liked...

Have stayed here many times do to their location near white water activities. Scenic background with good camping for the scouts and nice, clean cabins for the adults. Clean restrooms, nicely stocked store and friendly hosts. They always treat us right.

We have stayed at Arrowhead a couple separate times now and our experiences have both been wonderful! the sites are clean, the bathrooms are great and the staff is amazing! the general store has just about everything you might need if you forgot anything and it is super close to downtown, Cottonwood Lake & Clear Creek Reservoir. I know there...

We came as a family to spend 4 nights tent camping! I loved how the tent sites were up on a big hill and away from all the rest of the sites! The view was beautiful! There are tons of trees for shade, we even got to hang our hammock! The staff was friendly and kind and super helpful! The...

I'm not sure how this campground such a high rating, as it is nothing special - especially considering some of the other campgrounds we have stayed. The campground is wide open, on some hills, with a few trees, limited shade, but RIGHT ON THE HIGHWAY. The spots are large, but most were right on top of each other in a...

The Owners are wonderful and accommodating. Campground is central to all of the sights and treasures of the surroundings. Not lush, you have to like rocks and the unique geology of this interesting area. Ammenities are typical of any quality facility and they are excellent with large groups.

This is a terrific campground in a terrific location. Great staff with reasonable rates. We are new to Colorado and we could not have hoped for a better introduction to this area of Colorado. We will be back.

Overall I would say this is one of the nicest organized campsites that I have stayed at anywhere. The owner/operators are always on-site and were extremely friendly and helpful. If you are thinking of having a group outing they are more than willing to accommodate. They even gave our group a discount rate. This is a place you'll want to...
