If you appreciate nostalgia, incredible mountain views, clean amenities, and wonderful hosts (owners), then this is the place to stay! We made last minute plans to stay here when we were visiting the Royal Gorge, and we are so happy that we did. Their collection of vintage campers is extremely cool. We were greeted by the owner with a huge...

Convenient to the Royal Gorge! Owners are super friendly and very accommodating. Restrooms are immaculate and functioning. Camp store is well stocked with essentials. Would definitely stay here again! Their website is awesome too! If not tenting look for sites along the far edge (43/44/45)...they have more privacy than the others.

This place is such a gem. Vintage trailers rented out along with cabins camping and tents we ended up staying longer because we enjoyed so much! The owners are totally retro and nice! Not to mention some of the hardest working folks I've ever met. This place is a must stay!

We stayed in cabin 6 and it was exactly as described on the website. The weather was cool enough that night so no air conditioner was necessary. The bathroom/ shower facilities were very clean. The owners were great and very accommodating. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back soon!

My family of 4, two kids ages 5 and 6, thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in the "Lucy" shasta camper! It was our first campground experience and we loved it! The kids enjoyed the pool, campfires and bikes that are available to ride around the grounds. The owners were great, helpful and fun to be around. Even though the...

I just love the Shasta trailers! What a great idea for a campground...vintage trailer ready for you. I don't camp usually, so it is nice to drive up to a campsite with your camper already there. Stayed in Sally which was cute as could be. Really nice owners....Slyvia works hard for your comfort. Bath house was very clean! Campsites are...

Let me start by saying I have camped in hundreds of places in my lifetime. This one is a jewel above them all! If you're going to Canon City, this is where you want to stay! The vintage campers are authentic, delightful, comfortable and clean. We stayed in the Tacy, a Lucy & Desi themed camper. We had four of...

Very convenient location, close to the Royal Gorge. The tent sites are small, but manageable. I was able to fit 2 tents and a hammock, but had to park the vehicles in visitor parking. Picnic table and fire pit are at all the sites. They have free running water which is nice, and a little laundromat and store on site....
