We asked to check in early and they let us with no issues and we were very grateful, that is where the good stops. The smell of pine sol about knocked you over when you walk in, there was water all over the floor where someone had turned the fridge off (if it was just cleaned figured they would notice) hair on the bathroom floor (my feet were black after walking around in there for a few minutes. The sheets had stains and something that I could pick off on them. (My husband had a nose bleed in the night, I would have felt bad about the blood on the sheets but not after all this). The matress needs replaced. The tub would not drain and was full by the time two of us showered. The toilet quit flushing in the middle of the night when I was up to walk the dog. By the way, there is nowhere to walk a pet except for parking lot and a few gravel flower beds. I had to sign something saying we would not smoke on the property but the guests who are living there were on the stairs and in front of the doors smoking every time I walked out. One of the first motels I have felt like was unsafe to be out at night. Many people hanging around outside most of the night. They should have paid us to stay in this place!…
One of the nicer motel 6’s I’ve ever stayed at, not just because the rooms seem a little bigger, but because when my friend and I were getting on the road at about 5:45 am (big day) and left something in the room as we were leaving, all it took was a call to the number on the front office door and manager Caroline came running (over an hour before the office opens) and helped us get back in. We were still on the road before 6. Thank you Caroline!
My husband an d I were traveling with our dog and this place was great. Dog friendly, comfortable bed and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful in local cuisine and Cañon city’s night life. Close proximity to grocery store, pharmacy. They also have a good play area for the dog to go.
We booked this for a Saturday night 2 hours before we showed up through hotels.com. Service was nice and we had an upstairs room. The room was clean and spacious (lol, for being a small room to begin with) with a small table and 2 chairs. It’s a MOTEL, so it’s old but has been renovated. It was a good choice, the wifi worked and we could see our car from the balcony. We would stay here again. It’s pet friendly without extra charge.
We originally stayed here for 2 nights on our road trip but loved it so much that we added a 3rd! Justin was incredibly nice and helpful during our visit. He always seemed to be available and was quick to assist with any requests. Will definitely stay here on our next trip!
