If you are expecting luxury accommodations, this may be not your place. But we are repeat visitors and every time we have a great time. The owners, Mike and Rose, make this a wonderful family place to stay. The cabins are indeed rustic, but that is what it makes it a wonderful place to stay if you really want to...

We stayed in cabin number 13. It their smallest cabin, but what a good time we had. Being unfamiliar with gas stoves and heaters, I had to get a lesson from Mike the owner, but after that it was a whole lot of fun. It has a queen bed, full kitchen with full sized refrigerator and a shower bathroom. The...

Owners overall were nice people who are honest about the facility. Cabins are very, very rustic - really just a step up from camping - but they have running water and electricity and are very near the trailhead for Crag Crest so it was fine for our group needs. One aspect was very good for our group in that they...

We loved our two night stay. The staff are extremely friendly and nice. The gift shop has a lot of souvenirs and supplies. The cabins are rustic so don't go if you want luxury cabins. The lake is stunning and there is lots of wildlife in the area. We saw a black bear and her two cubs, a beaver, and deer....

This lodge need’s a lot of work. It’s a dump. We will never stay there again. The lodge is overpriced for what you get. They used to supply firewood-well not anymore. You ask for a BBQ and what you get is a broken down charcoal BBQ with no charcoal. If you need phone service you will have to stick your...

Rose and I are blessed and proud to be the owners of the Grand Mesa Lodge for the last five years. It has been a privilege to live here and carry on the traditions that have made the Lodge a memorable part of so many lives, including ours. Remodeling cabins, attention to detail, cleanliness and a positive guest experience are...

Didn't stay at the lodge but we did take a snowmobile tour through them. The Mesa is beautiful and Mike was great. My wife has never ridden an ATV or snowmobile and had a blast going 60mph + on the snow. Great time and great value. Highly recommend.

I have travelled extensively and have enjoyed all types of vacations/hotels/resturants from extravagant to economical. My reviews are with an eye for understanding about where I am in the world and that there are a world of differences. The location, Grand Mesa, is just so beautiful. The Grand Mesa Lodge is a rustic experience. The cabin, #13, where we stayed...

Great spot high on the Mesa. I stayed in cabin 13, kitchen was excellent, bottom floor was large. Very quiet at night. The one catch is that the bathroom is pretty small and there is no sink (kitchen sink is a few steps away). I was there to hike (Crag Crest Trail is fantastic), but I get the feeling that...

We stayed at Grand Mesa Lodge for 2 nights in July. Our first night was in #7, which was mighty rustic and cozy, but had enough room for us to get around and featured a view of the lake from the kitchen. Unfortunately, we could only have that unit for one night and had to shift to #5 the next...
