This could have been a much more traumatic experience. Night two of our whirlwind trip across the country with canine and feline companions. Again - the power of the internet and a phone call yielded this western gem which not only accepts, but welcomes pets. We arrived late, and parking is all along the street, though surprisingly Friday nights in...

Wanted to check this out, but it was closed (some sites were still listing). There were stories that it was haunted, which would have made it a cool place to visit, in addition to the historical side of it.

This beautifully restored hotel in downtown Cheyenne is close to restaurants, museums, coffee places and shops and is easy walking distance to the state Capitol. Service at the hotel was amazing even though we were there during a huge ComicCon convention. The staff was friendly, engaging and very accommodating. They were delighted to have us as guests. Great find!

My name is Victoria. We travel for work as "pilot" cars for wind energy. We left Brighton, Co today with Oakley, Ks as destination. Due to morning weather, impossible. We ended up here. Parking a blade is not easy. Great place to park it but motels limited. First motel we checked, well, I won't be rude. Then came here. What...

People keep confusing this hotel with the one in Cheyenne, WY but this one is in Colorado. I really enjoyed looking around and our room was huge! There isn't a lot of things to do in this town, but I went geocaching and drove around the area to entertain myself. The bad things about the hotel is that it does...

We went to the Plains Hotel with the intention of identifying any paranormal activity. We had a Electro Magnetic Field Meter, a Thermal Camera, audio recording and a melmeter. We stayed on the Fifth Floor in a two queen bed suite. We could not believe the amount of activity in this hotel. More than we had experienced anywhere else. If...

We rented a suite at the plains hotel which was very roomy. We had street view which is a trade off. It is noisier but far more interesting view than some other rooms. The elevator is small and slow so if you're on one of the upper floors this is a bit of a pain. The tv was so fuzzy...

If your looking for a cookie cutter box hotel..don't bother. This is a hotel from an age gone by...With details not imagined nor able to be feasible today. We're back in the early 1900's in a grand hotel with beautiful tiled floors in the entrance and a custom made teepee lamp where bison surround it...and above, a stained glass window...

I have been to this hotel about 20-30 times in the last 5 years the service has been outstanding and the rooms are very clean and modern for the age of the historic hotel. Movie theater across the street always has something playing. Lots of things to do in the area I recommend the crown for a night cap. The...
