We stayed 5 days at this owner/operated motel and it was wonderful. We had the pool and hot tub virtuPMally all to ourselves. The owners were friendly, helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable. This bungalow style older motel is very well kept and spotlessly clean. It is also very close to major attractions in the area like Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, the Manitou Cliff Dwellings and Red Rock Canyon open space, to name a few. If we should ever visit again there is no question that we will stay here.

I was glad I picked Mecca Motel for an overnight stay. The owners are onsite and are very friendly. They keep the place well maintained and the flowers look great! My room was clean and comfortable. There isn't an extra charge for ice, as someone stated: you get free tokens at the front desk, and use them at the ice machine. This location is quiet too, and there was some road construction when I visited, so not sure what traffic is like at other times. Seems like a convenient location to Manitou Springs and local businesses. I enjoyed my stay here.

My husband and I stayed here based on all the good reviews. We were not disappointed. Yes it is an older motel, but we loved it. We sat out in front of our room in the evening. It has a Mountain View . It had everything thing we needed. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The owners are kind and very welcoming. The location is close to everything we were there to see. We will definitely be back.

The Mecca Motel is an older basic motel - bathroom is small - you had to straddle the toilet to close the door! They also have you pay for ice, which isn't a lot but general is include with your stay. The mini-refrig had not been clean out from the previous guest and the lock on our room was so hard to open we almost broke the key. We probably would not stay here again and look for something updated.

We stayed here two nights and will definitely come back if we are ever in the area. It was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced and is located near a lot of great restaurants in Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs.
