I agree with Herb854...who says the staff tries very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. BUT.. this hotel needs updating. Our king bed room was in need of brighter lighting. When are hotels going to put LED lights in the lamps instead of the old 40Watt bulbs??? Our room was dark and gloomy. The heavy red drapes...

This is a large hotel with a nice courtyard. it took awhile to find the room but when we did we found a great room. It was large with everything needed. The staff was very nice and helpful. The Hot Breakfast was just the thing to start a new day.

This hotel surpassed my expectations for the price. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Lobby was a bit dated but very nice. Beds super comfortable and breakfast buffet was beyond what I was anticipating. It's located convienently close to 25, and is super close to downtown Colorado Springs. The surrounding neighborhood appeared to be a bit run down but other than...

Very friendly staff trying hard to make your stay enjoyable under the circumstances. Extremely poor layout, tired, worn out floors, and horrible carpeting. Rooms are small, so below today's standard. The breakfast, I must say was very, very good, big selection, very fresh. Overall, not terrible, just not good

Staff were very helpful and efficient. The hotel looked older on the outside, but inside the rooms they were very up to date, if not a bit small. The hotel was quiet. The room was clean and the towels were plentiful and soft. The bed was very comfortable with clean bedding. They had an "office" are in the lobby with...

Super friendly staff, you won't find a better person at the front desk anywhere around here. But when I went to check in their computer systems were down and they were not able to check me in for at least 90 minutes later before I came back to check in. Then taking the elevator to the 3rd floor was the...

Stayed here for a school trip. Loved the old down town location, but the hotel needs updating. No hot water evening or morning. Heating/cooling unit would kick on and off even if "off" was selected. Took the free shuttle downtown one night and were given a card to call for a pick up. When we called, we were told the...

I will say that they seemed to do a good job keeping the place pretty clean, but this place is in need of new beds, some fresh carpet, and major updating. I didn't use the pool, or eat the hot breakfast, but liked that both were offered. My main complaint is the bed. It felt like it has been there...

Less than a mile to walk to a lot of bars and restaurants downtown. We walked back to the hotel from the bars at midnight and never felt unsafe. The front desk was very helpful in getting us checked in early and quickly after being in a vehicle for 11 hours. I'm thinking that there must be a homeless shelter near...
