DO NOT STAY HERE. First of all, the “amenities” this hotel offers are nonexistent. Hotels.com boasts a pool which has been covered up by concrete. The rooms smell like mold, ours had a hole in the wall that was covered with duct tape and the bathtub was leaking and filled up halfway with dirty water. When we tried to leave the room, we discovered the door could be pushed open (while locked) from the outside. When we asked the front desk attendant for a refund due to safety concerns, she argued with us for quite a while and then took us back to the room to “prove” it couldn’t be pushed open. Spoiler alert, it blew wide open at the pressure from a shoulder. She denied a refund, saying that her “hands were tied” and tried to offer us a different (and somehow, worse) room. In the end, we had to contact Hotels.com who could only offer us a voucher for a portion of the money we spent on this “hotel”. HORRIBLE experience, I will live the rest of my days to warn people of this place.

I said my positives in the Title. It is close to downtown and few restaurants, not a bad area, but MJ dispensaries are close by. Bed was very basic and cheap but clean. Pillows are probably in use for 10-12 years. This place is severely outdated to a level of primitive. Nothing works, locks, turns, opens, etc. The customer service is at the level of tiny village of 19th century. It should cost $45/night to justify a stay there.

I had to leave a $100 deposit because we had our small dog with us. At check out the housekeeping person said our room was fine and my card was swiped to refund $100. That was four days ago and it still is not in my account. Calls are not answered or messages returned. The website says there is a pool and that's a lie. The smoke detector in our room was taken apart, wires showing.

There are better cheap places in Colorado Springs, this one is not worth half of the 60$ a night. + the location is good, I loved the nearby Cerberus Brewery - WiFi is not working, or incredibly slow. - TV not working in room 119. - Shower did not have hot water, but the sink did! - lamps were flickering and really weak bulbs. - door locks were falling apart -- reception desk was either really unfriendly or nobody there at 1am (they say 24/7) Check other reviews if you don't believe me. It's amazing that they are still in business.
