This is poorly designed resort. The fitness center and the bar/ restaurant are in separate locations. This wouldn't be any fun in the winter. The rooms are beautiful, but the bath has no tub and a 24" vanity. Very small for a 5 star resort. No coffee maker and no microwave. What were they thinking when they built this place? This is place is about 22 miles from Colorado Springs. This place is not up to Resort standards. If you want to play golf, I am sure this would be ok, but not for me. Very good staff employed. We drove a long way for this and were really disappointed. mm

We are so sorry that you were disappointed by the resort design. It certainly is different from a hotel that contains everything in one building. Our design allows our members and guests to visit the amenities of interest without having to visit the areas of less concern. Our oversized showers are well received by most however we offer Villas room with oversized showers and a jetted soaking for those that prefer that option. ALL of our rooms have a Nespresso coffee maker and refrigerator and the villas are also equipped with microwaves. Again, we are sorry your experience was less that perfect and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

We stayed 4 nights at this lodge. Definitely 5 stars! Was amazed at how quiet this property was. You could hear a pin drop at night! All the staff we encountered was over the top friendly. Just a short drive to shops and restaurants and the surrounding Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak and USAF Academy (closed to visitors during Covid19). A short walk to the bar and restaurant. Highly recommend this Lodge!

The Lodge at Flying Horse was spectacular, the room with its walking shower with double shower heads and very spacious bathroom, the beds are comfortable, the view from the room balcony was also great. The staff to include the lodge manager was amazing and handle all our requests as well as a small issue while we were there. The lodge is amazing, right in the middle of a subdivision that is apart of the resort which includes Steakhouse Restaurant, Tennis Courts, Golf Course, Workout facility, and Swimming Pools. The residents of Flying Horse can pay dues to utilize the resort amenities so there may be people utilizing the pool or workout facility that are not staying at the lodge. The water in the pools was not warm enough for me in May, tried it, but getting out you are going to freeze when it is in the low 70s. There was only 1 pool open and the jacuzzi was closed not sure why. If I ever go back to Colorado this is my number 1 pick for sure, just not sure when I will be going back if anythime soon. The lodge is North Colorado Springs near the Air Force Academy and pretty close to numerous restaurants and indoor/outdoor shopping choices. Couldn't be more pleased with how I was treated.

Impeccable. Luxurious. Everything was perfect from check-in , room service to check-out. The rooms are the most beautifully decorated. Your visit includes luxurious bathrobes, large showers, super thick towels and a coffee bar. Included is the state of the art recreation center equally Luxurious spa womens room, the workout equipment is super. The hot tub is a curvy design, the largest i have ever seen in my life and it had an indoor / outdoor version where you could swim under and then your outdoors. It was 22 degrees outside and snowing and one would think thats simply crazy to be out there in a wet bathing suit but no. The outdoor temp was barely noticeable when your in the jacuzzi. The steam rolling off, the sunset, the brightness of the snow lit the environment. Absolutely unforgettable and relaxing. A real hidden gem to be experienced.

We stayed a couple nights here while visiting Colorado Springs for the first time. Very nice place. Large room and bathroom. Very clean and updated. Gives you the high end feel. The club is wonderful. Several pools. Food and drinks available. This is a club that paying locals are members of and you can use if you are staying at the lodge. But it's not by any means cheap for those that have a membership! Also work out facilities and a spa. We did eat at the restaurant one evening. Limited menu, but it was very good. There were Covid restrictions going on. Wearing of masks in the hallways of the lodge where rooms are and in the club until you were outside. In the spa for all services you need to wear a mask. The pool was open certain hours and closed others for cleaning. Needed to reserve your time in the pool area ahead of time to help limit how many were there. Times were open 9-12, closed at 12-1, open 1-4, closed 4-5, open 5-8. Lovely area with very nice housing around the club and lodge. Security to enter. One reviewer did mention beware of extras. The room itself was reasonably priced but then there were a lot of extra fees that made it quite a bit more. Just beware when booking. I thought it was well worth it!
