Visited the Glyde Inn for an evening as part of a tour. The owners greeted us individually and provided a wonderful evening with good food and excellent traditional Irish entertainment. It has a traditional Irish style pub.

The rooms are very large and with a great view. The price is more than reasonable. You can enjoy the advantage of having B&B, meals and pub under the same roof. The breakfast is extraordinary good, as the whole food there is. The warm hospitality of the people there let you feel very welcome.

Stayed here recently for a wedding close by. Room was nice and spacious, very quiet and a beautiful view over the sea to wake up to. We were greeted by the owner the next morning, who was more than obliging in any requests we had. Lovely place, extremely nice setting and friendly staff. Hope to get back sometime.

This was our last stop in Ireland before the airport hotel in Dublin. We had a wonderful time meeting the locals and spending time with them at the pub. Hotel staff and restaurant staff was most attentive. Hotel has amazing views of the water and surroundings. Had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. Little store and post...

This was our last stop on our CIE tour of Ireland and we were treated to a brief history of the Viking influence in the area with our meal. Afterwards, a traditional Irish band played folk music and taught our group some Irish dances. Food was delicious and the view is great.

Food was good, chowder, burger & chips, potato skins, can't be faulted. The dessert was tasty but absolutely tiny and at €6 odd, frankly a rip off. Service was issue, started fine but then went downhill. Mains arrived asked for mayo & glass of water, neither arrived. No staff anywhere to be seen so went looking to get the mayo....

Ate here yesterday. Views amazing. Food fantastic. Salmon roulade a delight but the lamb took out. Loin lamb chops were boned and a little black pudding inserted where bone removed. Top notch stuff and very good value. The fantastic views and charming old bar are already written about.

Whether your looking out at spectacular coastal scenery in summer or cosy beside the fire in winter The Glyde Inn is always a great place to visit. Locally sourced produce and fresh fish feature on the menu but the steak is definitely a tasty treat!! Conor and the staff are always very welcoming and only too happy to guide you...

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat on a sunny but chilly October afternoon. We were greeted in the lovely old-fashioned bar and our orders were taken promptly. When we asked if it was ok to eat outside, we were shown to the outdoor area which has the most amazing views over Dundalk Bay and the Cooley peninsula. This...
