In town, very clean, comfortable bed, nice continental breakfast, good rate and helpful desk manager. We also had a Groupon which made it even more reasonable. The front desk people (2 different people when we were there) were very helpful in planning hikes and some places to see. We were very pleased!

Oh my goodness. From the beautiful flowers outside and inside, to the excellent breakfast, hiking advice, free bikes, and great beds, this place was perfect for our first Crested Butte vacation. Fresh-baked cookies in the afternoon really hit the spot. Also, the location is so perfect - just a short walk or bike ride to all the shops and restaurants....

I knew I'd be checking in late so I gave the innkeepers a heads-up.They told me my there would be no one there to check me in, but my keys were left at the desk, along with directions to my room and the phone number to call in case I needed anything. The guest room was pretty standard with two...

Arrived late at night to be greeted with our keys, a pleasant note from the desk, and a couple of Hershey's kisses. Such a sweet way to end a somewhat treacherous journey to get to there. Easy walk to downtown. Fantastic breakfast options. Pet friendly with their own adorable front desk Lab. Would absolutely stay again on my next trip...

This hotel was affordable over spring break and it included breakfast which was great for our family. We liked how easy it was to walk to town or walk to the shuttle to head to the resort to go skiing.

First, the positives. The staff are generally welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is very good, with home made quiche and fruit, as well as cakes and bagels, etc (no cereal, tho). It is clean, characterful and an easy walk to town, and drive to the ski slopes. However, the function of a hotel is to provide the facilities in which to...

I chose the Old Town Inn because of the good reviews and I was traveling with my dog. I checked in on Friday March 10, 2017. The woman behind the counter was busy on her computer. She was not friendly, in fact she acted like I was bothering her to check in. Her lack of customer hospitality started my stay...

We arrived to big bus of skiers leaving after a fun weekend at the Inn, I got excited from there on, the location is so convenient to go to movie theater just across the parking lot, we got an espresso and a sandwich next to Inn also. The Nordic center is blocks away and all runs are around town with...

OK, this is not a 5 star hotel, and it doesn't pretend to be. It is a family owned economical motel in which the the pride of ownership shows through. We found the following: smaller but meticulously maintained rooms, excellent heating system even in the coldest weather, immediate hot water when you turn on the faucet and plenty of it,...

This place exceeded our expectations! Booked a three night stay over thanksgiving because of an incredible groupon. Pet friendly was a huge bonus and only cost us a little bit extra. It's right in the edge of town, walking distance to any of the shops and restaurants. In the summer you can borrow their bikes for free and in the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
If the mountains are whispering your name, give us a call. The Old Town Inn makes a great home base for your Crested Butte adventures, wild or civilized. The inn offers all the amenities of a traditional hotel, but feels more like a bed-and-breakfast or European inn, where guests are welcomed like family. Here you can launch your day’s adventure with a hearty Continental breakfast and end it with home-made cookies and treats and a luxuriant soak in our outdoor hot tub. Though we offer one of the best lodging values in Crested Butte, we take excellent care of our guests. Our 33 rooms are spacious and spotless, most with two queen-sized beds (or ask about our king rooms or suite if you prefer). Rooms feature cable television with HBO, phones with voice mail messaging, wireless Internet access and daily housekeeping service. We also provide guest laundry facilities and fax service. We are located at the entrance to Crested Butte, right next to the Town Park, Center for the Arts, movie theater, grocery store and restaurants. We’re just a short walk from historic downtown’s shops and eateries and from cross-country skiing, hiking and biking trails. Just a few steps away, you can catch the free shuttle bus to the ski area. We’d love to be a part of your next mountain getaway. ... more   less
