My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this Bed & Breakfast Hotel earlier in June 2021, and wanted to let all know how much we enjoyed ourselves, the staff and accommodations. Joanne Carrington was incredibly helpful, friendly and made us feel right at home. She went out of her way to meet our every request, and is a real asset. We enjoyed the building, the furniture and the breakfast room, as well as porch area, the yards and the food from the Food Wagon. Should we be in the Cripple Creek area ever again, we will certainly stay at the Cripple Creek Hospitality House, and will let our friends know of your Hotel and RV Park. Best regards

We appreciate you taking the time to provide such a stellar review! It's also wonderful to get staff feedback as specific as what you provided. Joanne is awesome - very customer centric and also does double-duty as our on-site massage therapist. Doc's, our on-site food trailer, has a large comfort food-inspired menu. Breakfast for the hotel is complimentary. Lunch and dinner options are available for all guests and the greater Cripple Creek district. Again, thank you for review, for staying with us and we will look forward to hosting you again the next time you visit Cripple Creek.

Hospitality House is the only place we stay when we visit CC. The rooms are spotless, the beds are comfy, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They even told us what restaurants we could take our granddaughter to (some casinos don’t allow kids in the restaurant areas). It’s a bonus when the donkeys spend the night on the property!

Thank you for choosing us as your place to stay when in Cripple Creek! We couldn't make it happen without our staff - they are terrific. Yes, the donkeys are gentle souls who bring many smiles when they come to visit. Looking forward to hosting you again soon! Thanks again.

I stayed overnight in this beautiful restored and refurbished 1900s, for it’s day, opulent hospital now turned into a hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful to get me settled. As there is no elevator, the deskclerk did help me up with my luggage and a dinner that I had brought in. If I were to come back this way I would definitely be staying there again.

We love the Hospitality House. Everyone there is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed in the campground this time and enjoyed it very much. The restrooms are clean. We will be back.

We chose this hotel because we were visiting hotels with a "history". Since this one was once a hospital., it fit the category. We spent a lot of time looking at the historical items and pictures scattered throughout the hotel. The "re-do-modernization" is excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast from the food truck was good, with several choices. (We were also around for lunch from the truck. We had their take on hamburgers and fries. This was also delicious.) The front desk staff were friendly and actually made us feel that they really appreciated our business. The only negative some people may have is you cannot comfortably walk to the center of town. (You probably would not have a hard time going, but coming back is uphill, and at 10000 feet, walking uphill is strenuous. )

Thanks so much for the great feedback on our staff, food and amenities! We're super proud of our history (as you noted) and we're very lucky to own/operate such a unique property. Yes, 9,494 is pretty high - luckily we have free shuttle service to and from the hustle/bustle of casinos and greater Cripple Creek District. Hope you have a wonderful travel season!
