I stayed at the hospitality house for a week while hiking in the area. It's a unique hotel that used to be a hospital and is full of lovely antiques. Guests can enjoy a peaceful solarium and a comfortable lounge. There are also clothes washing/drying facilities which I found very useful. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. I've stayed...

Unique and very peaceful, love the rich history! Nikki (sp?) checked us in and was so friendly and accommodating. She and the rest of the staff we encountered are full of detailed information about the hotel and its past. The entire hotel is very clean and tidy. We stayed in the Operating Room and were quite comfortable. We were encouraged...

This place is absolutely beautiful....and intriguing. Originally a fine hospital, built in 1901, each room's door bears the the name of it's purpose when the hospital was in service. (We stayed in the "imaging" room.) We were fascinated with the memoribilia throughout the building. And the staff was GREAT!! One of the best places we have ever stayed!!

We stayed in room 25, the former Operating Room. If you are looking for historical charm plus quiet and cleanliness, this is the place for you. The front desk staff is friendly. This place has a different atmosphere to it that cannot be described, only felt. Don't look to be seated in the lap of luxury but rather enjoy it...

The owners pay a lot of attention to detail. There are many period pieces displayed throughout the facility. The rooms are very well appointed and the beds are super comfortable. What makes this all come together is the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help (finding points of interest and recommendations for dinner). Overall great experience to stay...

This place is just really cool. The owners have clearly put a ton of time into maintaining this historic building, and also into making it really comfortable. All the rooms are unique, and the house feels like a little community. I'm definitely going to try to come back here when I'm next in Cripple Creek.

Wonderful mountain hotel with a bed & breakfast feel. Great staff made me feel welcome. Fantastic views, comfortable room, modest but more than adequate breakfast. Close to downtown , casinos & restaurants, but not too close. First time I had ever seen the place and will definitely go back.

It was our pleasure to host you during your recent stay! As you noted, we do have a B&B feel, but operate as a hotel where every room has its own private bath, HD televisions/programming, WiFi and a complimentary continental breakfast to help our guests get started in the mornings. Thank you for review and we hope to see you...

This house was formerly a hospital and had been transformed into a quaint little Inn! The rooms were very comfortable, the staff was knowledgeable regarding the history of the Inn! It was like stepping back into another era. We really enjoyed all the antiques too!

This hotel is a totally restored and remodeled former hospital. Luxurious, filled with antiques and each room different, it's located in a former mining town high in the mountains of Colorado. Quiet, off the beaten path step back in history, a very unusual and pleasant place to stay.

Thank you for your review and for calling-out the unique nature of our property! As you noted, every room is different in terms of size, color scheme, floor plan, but they all share the rich history of the Teller County Hospital, which we're proud to share with our guests. We hope you'll visit us again soon!
