Detailed Reviews
I stayed at this hotel five days a week for 10 weeks during the spring of 2021 and the staff were consistently friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Every one of them went above and beyond to meet my (and my colleagues') needs: Michelle, Anna, Tristan, Orlando, and Nate were all amazing and made me feel at home during my extended visit. The housekeeping staff were also kind and responsive; any questions or needs were quickly taken care of and every room I had was comfortable and clean. I'll be recommending this hotel to anyone going to Denver for business or pleasure and especially anyone who is staying there for a while. Thanks again, y'all!

This hotel has a great centralized location. Many restaurants, shops and bars. Close to all that downtown has to offer. The Starbucks is located on the first floor of the hotel lobby. Walk through 2 doors and you're there, really easy access and not as dramatic as some of these other reviews about it not being part of the hotel. Yes parking is $44 a day and there are about 25 spaces. Independence Plaza parking garage is on the corner diagonal from the hotel and I paid $60 to park there Saturday to Tuesday. There is free parking on the surrounding streets from 10pm to 8am. The interior room windows look out over a small atrium with no view but didn't bother us as we were only sleeping there. Get a city view room on Curtis or 16th St Mall. Didn't recognize the paper thin walls during our stay, it was a quiet comfortable room. I would definitely stay here again.

I’ll start by saying that this is a beautiful hotel. We arrived late Sunday night and the parking lot ($44 to park per night!) was full. It was dark and we had a rental in a strange city, and since it was also very late, the man at the counter told us we could park free on the street until 8am, and there would likely be parking the next day. (Clearly you don’t have to be a hotel guest to park, as they have a sign out advertising the price) My husband went down at 7:30am to move the car only to find a parking ticket on it for parking on a Monday morning when they sweep the streets. So the counter guy cost us $50.
My husband had training at the hotel so I spent a lot of time in the room. We had a “city view” which looked out onto construction on the street. Housekeeping came daily, which I appreciated. I left the room each time to let them in without anyone hovering. They don’t vacuum or change sheets, but they do make the bed, refresh the towels, coffee, and toiletries.
The only breakfast available is things you can purchase. There is a place on site, as well as a Mexican restaurant for lunch and dinner. No pool or hot tub.
Aside from a few cosmetic issues in our room (light fixture cracked, headboard worn, etc) it was a beautiful room with high ceilings and a huge window. The remote for the tv was a universal one, and twice a day it would say it would turn off if you didn’t push ok, and you could push ok on the remote all day and it would still turn off, which was annoying if you were watching something. Especially since every time you turned it back on, it was back on their hotel channel and you had to find what you were watching again.
There are lots of restaurants and stores in walking distance, and they are easy walks.
The morning of checkout (12 noon- love the late checkout) a housekeeper knocked on my door and tried to open it at 8:30 am. She said she was sorry, that I didn’t have the sign on my door, but I didn’t think I would need it at 8:30 am. They had come much later than that daily.
All of the staff we encountered were very nice. If it hadn’t been for one costing us $50, we would have had the most pleasant experience. There are also some nice chairs and a sofa in the lobby to sit at if you would like.

I am a loyal Marriott customer with platinum elite status. Booked a deluxe city view room, pictures on line were quite nice. Checked in to receive a corner room with a view of an alley with dumpsters and drug deals. Terrible light, pillar awkwardly placed in the room and no art to improve the space. Pictures speak for themselves.
Valet is very expensive, when I asked about options I was told self parking was “quite far”. Used the valet only to find out free street parking was in front of the hotel. When I asked after I checked in if I could take my car (which was less than 20’ away) out of valet I was told no as it was already billed to my room.
Would not stay here again as there are many other nice Marriott properties in Denver.

After a 12 hour drive home, my daughter immediately realized she left her eyeglasses in our room while unpacking. She called immediately to inquire about them, and the gentleman on the phone with her was rude and not helpful. When we called back the next day, they were apparently not found by housekeeping and not in lost and found, even after I gave very specific instructions as to where they were in the room. Called back the next day, and was told they would speak with the staff that cleaned the room. No eyeglasses were found. There is absolutely no way anyone who was thoroughly cleaning that room would have not found them. So someone is enjoying a new pair of eyeglasses that belong to us. In addition, when we checked in, we were told our room wasn’t ready and given suggestions on what to do to pass the time, which included walking down 16th street which was not safe at all! Then upon returning and waiting in the common area, we watched 5 different groups of people with 2 queen beds given rooms, while we sat waiting. Interesting how one just magically was available when my husband inquired again. Will never stay at this hotel again. So disappointed, because we generally have great luck with Marriott hotels.

The King Size bed was horrible. It hurt my back so much, I woke up at 2AM and wondered if I was having a heart attack! The pillow went flat immediately. The location was good but 16th St. Mall was all broken up so the street view we paid extra for wasn’t there. The staff was wonderful and we didn’t complain to them. Bottles of water were $5.00, at Walgreens they were 2 for $5.00. Did they really need to have a 100% profit on water? The toilet paper holder was already hanging by a screw and unusable. The shower had no place to put your own personal hair products. The hotel didn’t have a restaurant so “breakfast” stuff was nothing to mention. I don’t think we’d stay there again.

I recently stayed here in late October. The location was perfect as this was my first time in Denver, Colorado. It is very close to the train station (walking distance) and despite it being very cold, my boyfriend and I were able to walk 20,000 steps and enjoy all of the nearby sites. The security is very nice as Sunday morning a homeless man started approaching my boyfriend and I rapidly and we were able to scan into the hotel and the door locked the man out. I am a Marriott employee myself so the room did not have a great view, but I was not in the room too much as I wanted to take in the sights of Denver. The bathroom and room were very trendy and modern. I liked the whole feel of the hotel.

We booked a standard room for 3 nights from 14th September but was upgraded to a corner suite 525 as we were travelling for our wedding anniversary which was really nice. The room was large with a separate living area. The bed was comfortable and there was a fridge in the room, there was also a welcome basket on arrival with bottles of water and some snacks.
The curtains in the room need replacing as they were ripped and dirty. The windows were not very soundproof as road works that started at 0730 were very loud. There is a bakery downstairs in the hotel (Trompeau) that did gluten free breakfast sandwiches which was great. The hotel is in a good location to access all the tourist areas in the city and there is a Walgreens/CVS down the road for any supplies you may need. The only issue we had was we were charged for a bottle of water we didn’t take, it was refunded after we contacted them about the issue.

The room was fine outside of the loud noise the bathroom sink drain made everytime water was turned on. The shower door also continued to side open as I was tking a shower and left the floor all wet. The smell was a bit on the unpleasant side when I first walked in.
But the most interesting thing about my stay was my check out process. After paying for my room and getting my key, the front desk clerk directed me to the elevators and that was it. I had to leave my room and go to the lobby to ask someone when check out was because no one told me during check in.
When waiting for my uber in the lobby, I was shocked to hear new guests given more clear and needed directions during thier check in processes. I do not understand why no one told me about the towel service, check in time nor the cups and ice bucket incovenience.

Wish I could help, but I was there December 2016.
We took the free bus service at the corner to the train depot and then the airport shuttle to the airport. Easy fast and reliable. Also very inexpensive.
Hi there, we do not have a pool.
Huge thanks to all of you to the TripAdvisor community for helping louisehoff with this question so quickly!
To echo what our friends here have said, yes it is a pretty basic hair dryer (Andis Micro Turbo) but maybe a plug adapter that also converts voltage might be helpful for bringing your own? We normally have those available to borrow at the front desk.
