Was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this hotel. The best thing was it could accommodate our group (over 600 people) in spaces that were close together so I didn't have to walk all over the hotel or look at maps to find my way around. Best of all were the speedy elevators. I never had to wait more than 5 or 10 sec for an elevator and they were extremely fast getting me to the floor I needed. The food was good, although sit down meals had pretty small portions for the price, but the buffets were fine. Staff was uniformly courteous and helpful. They insist on making you use a bellman to take your belongings upstairs, during which time you must leave a key with the valet service, and there is no option to forego the daily room service it appears. So bring some cash for tipping. My room was very quiet, and the fitness center is the best I've ever seen in a hotel. Many machines and a great 2-lane lap pool that is about 5 ft deep, with a hot tub outdoors. Abundant towels and a nice change room with lockers you can insert your own code in the lock to store your stuff.

Not the fanciest conference hotel room I’ve had, but overall a good experience and common areas/amenities felt more up to date than the room. Front desk staff were nice and got me in the room early as well as offering late checkout. Room was clean and no noise issues. I also noticed the curtains closed fully to keep light out unlike a lot of hotel rooms. Housekeeping came daily.
Hotel food at our conference activities was all pretty good, and you didn’t have to walk so far to get to the meeting areas as with some conference centers. No waiting for elevators. The 27th floor bar was nice, and there were a few restaurants in easy walking distance. Lobby coffee shop and grab and go area weren’t too expensive and lines moved quickly. Nice gym and pool. Solid stay overall.

After discovering our reservations at Hyatt place somehow got canceled, I tried making reservations at Hyatt Boulder and Hyatt interlocking which were both booked, we cold called, showed up unannounced at Hyatt Downtown where the staff immediately handled our request for a 3 night stay. Our luggage was immediately taken to our hotel room and our car was valet parked without any hesitation. The staff went above and beyond to put our situation at ease. Initial assessment of this hotel and the amenities was good. During the stay was fine. There was one issue with the valet but was cleared up quickly with no problems. There was also a misunderstanding about check out date. The conference I attended had events planned until Wednesday evening and the hotel had me checking out Wednesday morning. I was under the impression I was checking out Thursday morning and was informed of this Wednesday morning when someone came into my room to clean the room. The front desk called and informed me that a complimentary check was to noon and I would be charged an extra $20 for an hour to get my things together and the family I had to return to the hotel. It was a miss for me when they could had stated we will just change the reservation to the next day. The beds were lumpy, pilliows were not supportive, and the sleep quarters were tight. For $245 a night this is not what was expected.

This is not a joke. They forced me to check into my suite “while the bedroom was being prepared”. Turns out, no bedroom was available. They assigned it to someone else. I was forced to move to a new room at 10:30pm that evening after returning from dinner. The kicker is this was just a one night stay. I never booked nor wanted a suite upgrade to begin with. Management tried to offer me free breakfast as compensation… ultimately they gave me a 50% discount on the room. I would have left on principle if I wasn’t there for a conference speaking engagement.

We stayed in January, which is their low season. This was good for us since rates and availability were great. This is an excellent location to attend the convention center, go to a game, or explore Denver museums etc.
If you like an adult beverage with a view don't miss Peaks Lounge on the 27th floor! Great views of the city and mountains as well as perfect sunset viewing.
The only nit-pick is parking on site is $48 per day but it is safe and allows in and out privileges

While the staff was friendly even on a busy day I found the hotel rooms or at least the room we were provided to be outdated. The rooms need a serious update to a standing glass shower rather than a tub with a shower curtain. Furniture was dated and so was the carpet in the room. I was supposed to stay across the street but they overbooked and I did not feel like this was a comparable experience. Luckily it was just for one night. I was disappointed for the first time with Hyatt brand and the room. The lobby however looked modern.

Keep passage / hallways vacuumed to avoid dust and sinus health problems. Breakfast was not included and rooms are relatively pricy, considering breakfast not included. Upon prior quotation, additional costs such as a $50 per day deposit plus other costs (refundable upon departing) were not disclosed to me and credited against my credit card on arrival. My visit was funded by an external organization, and I could have had insufficient funds. The staff explain it is customary in the USA. I have no problem with the custom, however, I am from RSA and it was not disclosed prior what the full possible costing will be, when booked online. This should be disclosed in your quotations and online bookings. Other than that the hotel accommodation was good. I kept my own room clean and did not have to rely on cleaning, although the cleaners did ask whether I need anything.

For the price, we could have had a much better experience elsewhere. Excited to have a suite but it was very underwhelming. The bathroom was a normal plastic tub. You couch is just for looks, very uncomfortable. There is a very nice dining table, but no dinnerware or silverware supplied. The expensive room service came in plastic containers and plastic utensils. Do better for what you charge.

No balcony.
No, but many restaurants are w/in walking distance. There is a free bus up and down the 16th Avenue Mall, and they run very frequently.
Soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. I'm guessing there may be others available at the front desk.
I had a king and there was a door between my room and the adjacent room, so I'm assuming you can request two adjoining rooms and have access to the other without going out in the hall.
