The Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center Hotel garners appreciation for its exceptional service, with staff members such as Teresa and Kaelin receiving individual accolades for their warmth and proficiency. Its vibrant live music and chic ambiance are popular, although the noise level has disturbed the sleep of a few guests. The hotel's cleanliness is consistently commended, and while opinions on the rooms and value are mixed, the historic charm and amenities like a well-appointed bar add to its appeal. The location's convenience varies, so guests recommend choosing room placement carefully.

Such a nice hotel. Very well kept and the staff is good (and pleasant). The building was previously a bank that was built approximately 100 years ago and it is so nice. My positive experience began with Andrea at the front desk upon my check in. Due to weather changes which got me to the hotel around noon. That was totally acceptable and they got me a room right away (and a nice corner room). In short, I might give this hotel the rating of "classy".

Overall great BUT…you need to be very specific in requesting a room location. We’ve stayed there several times and did not know they have some rooms looking out on an interior air shaft thatare dark , small windows and look at blank walls. When we arrived we immediately refused the room and they claimed no other rooms were available. We ended up staying at another nearby hotel. As we had paid with American Airlines miles we then contacted them to Get a refund and initially the hotel refused and I had to go back title hotel to Have a chat. We got the refund. So request an exterior street view room. Above 2nd floor is good also as some 2nd floor rooms are over the restaurant kitchen and can have cooking odor issues. The lobby bar and the restaurant are very nice, great food and service.

One of our favorite places to stay down the hill! The lounge is a bit lacking but the warm and friendly staff more than makes up for it! The food at Range is always fantastic and can stand up against anything in Vail or Aspen! And the service is likely the best in Denver. The rooms are well suited and decorated and the beds are heavenly!

Top Notch service from valet to front desk to the restaurant and bar and coffee shop employees. I always felt seem and recognized, often by name by the many friendly staff members!!! And the bed was just heavenly!! I made the mistake of going next door to save some money and NEVER AGAIN!! The Renaissance never let's me down like some of the other Downtown Denver Marriott properties do. Somehow there's even less homeless on this block than others nearby

I usually stay here when I come to Denver on business and it never disappoints the service is fabulous and the environment is awesome. It also has a great location. I'd like to give kudos to Mary and Carlos in the cafe. I went there yesterday for a cup of their great coffee and when I asked if they had gluten-free items Mary ran over to the restaurant and got me some gluten-free toast with butter and jam and did not charge me just as a polite gesture. This is now my home whenever I come to Denver which is fairly frequently.

We stayed here for two nights during my sister-in-law's wedding, and the service was fantastic. From checking in, to wedding set up, to sparkling rooms, to making us feel like true guests -- the team at the Renaissance Denver was fantastic. A special shout out to Mike/Michael at the valet on July 4 who helped us load our car with all the wedding decor, making the final bit of wedding party work all the more easier and sending us off with a smile.

Apart from the hotel being a beautiful building, there’s not much great to say about it. For Renaissance standards it’s outdated and dingy. Floor 7 smelled moldy in the hall near the elevator. Our room was clean but showing signs of wear. We requested more pillows which were never brought, the housekeeping staff would knock has they were literally opening the door and walked into our room twice while we were in there, and the lounge was lacking. Fine location but would stay elsewhere.

The hotel is a nice property and location. The reason for my five star rating was because the service was remarkable! They had some construction going on and we’re very accommodating to relocate my room. Luana - thanks for the exceptional service!

I always enjoy my stay at this Renaissance. The old bank building is beautiful with historic architecture, but the other draw is the great service. In particular, Teressa Gibbs is gracious and conscientious. It always nice to be greeted by her warm and genuine smile. I appreciate how she assisted me, the time I had a last minute schedule change.. Be sure to say “hello” to her, during your stay. -C.S.
