Aways stay here on the way to the high country to rest up and have a relaxed drive up the mountain in the morning. Was owned by a very friendly Swedish couple for many years. New owners are younger but just as friendly and they've obviously put work into maintaining the place. Flat screen tv now, wifi, solid heater/air conditioners.... More

I stayed here during a Motorcycle ride of the San Juan Mountain Skyway. Friendly staff, clean room, great price. My room had all the amenities that you would find in higher priced Inns...fridge, microwave, free WiFi. I can't think of anything at all to complain about.

The manager here is awesome and everything about this place is great!! The room I had (113) is upstairs and very large. I do yoga and loved how much space I had for this. There were two beds, a fridge, and a microwave in the room. The bathroom is a good size as well, and the fixtures, including the whole... More

The motel is a bit rustic (although clean and comfortable) but the staff was absolutely great in accommodating moving our room...when we were checking in our room was adjacent to one with a couple yappy dogs and they quickly moved us to another. We'd planned on staying just one night but then decided to stay a second and this was... More

I spent three nights in this lovely town and hotel. The room is basic, what you would expect in a very small-town hotel, but clean and comfortable. A micro-wave and refrigerator are provided. Housekeeping did a good job daily. I had coffee from the lobby every morning. I will stay here again when I'm in Dolores, but I will ask for... More

It definitely has that small town, mountain feel. It was quite charming and it was clean. Rooms are dated but that adds to the charm. The staff was beyond friendly--really made us feel welcome. The suite has a full size refrigerator--very handy if you are staying for several days. I would definitely stay here again.

Minimalist, but everything is clean and in excellent condition. Staff takes care to clean your room thoroughly every day. Other than ordinary guest noise such as overhead footsteps, the hotel is very quiet and safe. The staff, especially Lars & Donna, are helpful. Lars is friendly and we had excellent conversations about the part of the country I was from,... More

Husband and I were going to stay in Cortez but couldn't find a room so we hit the trip advisor and found this lovely Inn 10 miles away. Lars the owner greeted me at the front desk with a huge and welcoming smile. He has owed this for over 20 years and says he has enjoyed every year there. Our... More

Lovely place to stop for the night. Rooms were clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet despite the roadside location. This is an old-fashioned one-level motel but it has been well-maintained. I enjoyed having a ground floor room because it was easy to bring my bike inside. I also enjoyed the plastic chair out front to be able to sit out... More

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. It's conveniently located in the middle of town, there's a restaurant next door and a coffee shop across the street. We will definitely stay here again.
