Very clean, hospitable, great coffee. Very helpful staff. All the amenities that I needed, comfortable bed, good wifi connection and quiet. Excellent front door parking and not a lot of stairs. Easy access to ice and vending machines, food, gas and grocery within the block.

What a positive surprise the Inn was. My ski adventure brought me to Durango as I'd decided to ski Purgatory. The Inn is located on the north side of town. Normally I would not have even considered it but due to its ranking on Trip Advisor I decided to stop by and ask about availability. Everyone was genuinely friendly and...

Told Nigel and Tammy (the owners) I did not trust #5 reviews, and only read the 4's and 3's. Well I have to give this neat couple a 5! We arrived on the day prior to them gaining their freedom from Knight's Inn. They are now an independent inn, with no affiliation to said chain. Nigel gave us such great...

Our sincere thanks Mr. G for the wonderful review and clarification of "5 stars". We strive to under sell and over deliver as we truly value our guests and their stay. Had a great two-night stay. It's obvious the new owners are putting a lot of time, money and heart into the property. Room was clean and comfortable, property was quiet even right by the highway. Good breakfast, too. Great experience.

THE owners of this hotel have put their own special touches in a budget hotel with a clean mid level hotel experience. Beds were extra comfy, room clean, service excellent, and an excellent VALUE in Durango. Highly recommended would won't regret it.

I found this motel to be one of the cleanest I have ever been in. The staff and owners are amazing individuals. You couldn't ask for better hospitality or a more welcoming room on your next trip. Highly recommended.

Awesome little hotel with very nice owners. Breakfast was very enjoyable and the room had nice, clean beds with wonderful fluffy blankets. The hotel also had a deal going on with Purgatory Ski that allowed us a free night! Will definitely be back here soon!

Thank you very much! We've really enjoyed meeting and talking with such wonderful people that have stayed with us. It's been fun to have the ski crowd here too, being on the northern most edge of Durango places us conveniently close to Purgatory Ski! New name; same management and stellar staff! We're not a sparkling new hotel. We are however- personable and very clean with new comfy beds, pillows and soft silky linens. We have exceptional free WI-FI, cable including HBO, heat/AC, microwaves and mini fridges in every room. We offer tea and freshly ground and brewed Starbucks coffee all day. In or newly renovated lobby we offer free light continental breakfast every morning from 7am - 9am consisting of fresh fruit, toast-able items, dry cereals, oatmeal and hard-boiled eggs. We're located on the quiet North end of Durango, close to the San Juan National forest, Purgatory ski resort, nearby hiking/biking trails and 1 block West of the Animas River. Our friendly, courteous staff and management are more than happy to make any recommendations of places to see, adventures to go on or local dining favorites.
