Tons of shade, RV and tent friendly, sleep listening to the beautiful sound of the creek, incredibly cleaned facilities. This place is truly amazing, and it is only 7 minutes away from main street in downtown. The campsite is surrounded by mountains with mature trees, so there is a lot of privacy and shade. The attendants and owners are really...

Car trouble during a cross country trip allowed us the unexpected opportunity to visit this beautiful campground. The first three nights were spent in a lovely, fully equipped cabin by the creek followed by several days of tent camping in a perfect creek side spot. There are many beautiful full hook up RV sites. The pool area is wonderful. The kids...

My husband and I stayed at this campsite/RV resort while attending our niece's wedding. I was very impressed with our site # which was #38. The site can be cramped but this site was at the end surrounded by trees and right by the rolling creek. Was very private and not as crowded feeling like the rest of the sites....

Fantastic campground! All the sites are beautiful, with mature trees and well spaced. The owners are absolutely delightful and are justifiably proud of their property. The restrooms are immaculate. The pool is well located, away from the campsites so noise is never an issue. We weren't able to reserve a site on the creek, but nevertheless we could hear the...

LOVED this campground! For our 2 week trip and having visited 5 different RV campgrounds, this was by far our favorite! The staff was helpful and friendly. Everything was clean. It was close to everything and the grounds felt like camping, not asphalt. I cannot wait to go back!

My husband and I rented a spot by the creek with full hookups. The owners worked the office. They were welcoming from the moment we walked in and greeted us with a smile...and it was very busy in there. We reserved in advance which made our check-in fast and easy. A camp host then showed us to our location and...

My family drove 8 hours to stay at Lightner Creek Campground and it was worth every moment of the drive. Upon arriving, the super friendly and helpful owners greeted us and guided us to our campsite. We have the most beautiful site on the creek with a gorgeous custom deck, patio furniture and propane grill. We have enjoyed the pool...

Awesome campground! Stayed in housekeeping cabin by the creek. It had everything we needed except food of course. Very quiet and very comfortable arrangements. Bring bug spray and citronella candles...the bugs like visitors! Great location to set up for several days in durango...everything close by.

Stayed 2 days, booked 7, family showed up and when attempting to pay for space the female owner could not get the rates correct and after 15 minutes and 3 attempts along with some suggestions on how to calculate the rates, the owner got very frustrated and defensive stating she would have her husband figure the bill and get back...

My husband and I loved this campground. We have a 25' trailer and stayed on a spot by the creek. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the campground was clean and beautiful. Off creek spots are a little closer but not bad. Can't beat distance to town. Initially didn't want to stay because they don't allow campfires but you...
