We stayed for 2 nights at the Durango Lodge this past Labor Day weekend. Though a little pricey, room itself was more than serviceable. It was neat and clean, and the A/C was great. But the best thing about the Durango Lodge is its location, right at the end of Main, within easy walking distance of all the great shops...

I chose this spot for its proximity to downtown, and was not disappointed. The pool was super clean, beds were comfy. Plenty of parking and right across the street from Poppy's, a great sandwich spot. We were there one night, it was a great stay! The only reason for a 4-star was the price, $160 for a double queen.

I stayed at Durango Lodge based on the reviews. However, it was a weekend and the trains runs a special called the Blues involves music and lot of drinking. If you do not mind the intoxicated people making loud noises while returning to there place of rest than it is ok. If I had known about the transportation system and...

While it is a good location you pay for that as room was small and just okay.parking is poor.although checkout was 11.00 we had a housemaid knocking at our door at 8.30 was not to impressed as she seemed upset she had to come back. After that we didn't bother with breakfast.

We were really pleased with our stay here. It may not be the newest place around, but it seemed to be very well maintained, very clean and the staff was quite friendly. We'd go back in a heartbeat. We wished that we'd stayed there more than the one night we did!

We had a nice two nights stay at the Durango Lodge. Our room was spacious, clean, with comfortable beds. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located in downtown Durango, only one block away from the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gouge Railroad Station. Breakfast is included, and consists of bagels and cream cheese, pastries, fruit,...

I have stayed here several times over the last thirty years. I have found it in various states of repair. This year it was darn near perfect. The room could be out of a hilton. New everything. It was very hot here. The AC worked great. The bed was outstanding. I am very please.

This hotel is 3 star hotel. But, do to it's location of being downtown and next to the Train Station it earns a 4 star from me. The rooms were nice. I had a balcony overlooking toward the train station. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops. Anything you need is within distance. Park the car and enjoy....

Perfect downtown location, 2 minute walk to the train station. The hotel is clean and comfortable and has a reasonable breakfast, especially if you like lots of wheat. The room decor is somewhat dated and the rooms are small and I doubt the bedspreads are washed after each occupancy but it is a reasonably priced option with pleasant staff.
