We had a river side room on the first floor. Room was average in amenities and reasonably quiet, given the massive amount of traffic on 8th. The two things that would have elevated it in my rating would have been a dorm fridge and better housekeeping. Just a little fridge would have saved me constant runs to the ice machine...

Dear hutchlm, Thank you for taking time to review your most recent stay and I appreciate your honesty. We are always looking for feedback to improve our guest's experience. In regards to the mini fridge we do have some on property, however, they are available upon request. I am glad to hear that the room was sufficiently quiet for you...

I recently booked a hotel on the first floor and although I like pets, the carpet was spotted all over with urine. You may have better luck on the top floor. In addition, I woke up with the bathroom covered in ants. I had to clear some space before taking a shower.

Overpriced for what is provided. Small rooms, double beds, outdated, no breakfast. Only plus is convenience to restaurants and shops. The night before we stayed at a La Quinta in New Mexico and it was 100% nicer and $55 less per night!

For what they charge for a room, you would think that they would hire honest employees. I had a iPhone charger taken from my room without my consent . They won't replace it or make it right with me. They keep on telling me that they will get back to me and never do. They know the housekeeper took it...

While walking distance to town, you must cross a VERY busy street to get there. Definitely search for online deals for this place (we got 3 nights for the price of 2). The bed was fine, but there was no breakfast or fridge. We bought an ice chest to store our food. The front desk ran out of laundry soap...

At 9 am the maid knocked briefly on the door. We said occupied but seconds later she burst into the room. Check out time is noon. Fortunately we had just gotten dressed, but why would the motel assume that you'd be up and gone by 9am. Add to that threadbare carpet and ragged towels and an uncaring front desk. Do...

You can't beat this location...walk 2 blocks to the historic 1880's train station for an authentic steam engine scenic ride up the mountain to Silverado or take 100 steps to the River Walk to fish, hike or raft. This is one of the many Ocean Properties hotels which means it has EXCELLENT staff with knowledge of the area. I look...

We took a road trip from Denver-Phoenix for spring training at the end of March, 2015 with our golden. We stayed in pet friendly places, of which this was the third. The room was clean, the street noise was minimal, with reading lights on both sides of the very comfortable King bed-exactly what we required. It is a three minute...

We had spent ten days on the road skiing, hiking, etc and needed a comfortable place to reorganize. The Downtowner is close enough to Walmart to downtown to enjoy the shops and restaurants of Durango, but the amenities of the property were what we really appreciated. The laundry worked great, the hot tub was soothing and the room big enough...
